The breakfast is more than a normal person can eat , but we were going to climb a volcano so we ate everything.... traditional Nicaraguan breakfast....the staff is incredible and bilingual....they go above and beyond....pool is a nice soaker with excellent service if you want a beverage. Very nice private and secure parking area. From start to finish they will accommodate your every need

La comodidad de la cama, el jardín donde se da el desayuno, la piscina y el parking justo en frente cerca del hotel.
La limpieza es muy justita por no decir inexistente (toallas con agugeros y 2 dias que tuvimos que ir a recepción a por toallas porque no repusieron), desayuno poco variado (tienes que elegir el típico nicaragüense o tienes que pagar un extra…. Y si tienen los productos porque hay dias que ni pagando). Deben mejorar muchas cosas para cobrar lo que cobran por noche.

The staff were very nice. Milton was very helpful. Alberto Cordoba explained things very well during our checkout. Alberto has excellent communication skills and would be a great hotel manager in the future.

a truly wonderful property. all of the staff are exceptional. fantastic breakfast in the courtyard in the morning. great wifi, and shady areas around the hotel to work (all open air). rooms incredibly clean and updated, slept SO comfortably every night due to a great mattress, fluffy pillows and plush comforter. small, cool pool to cool off in after a day of exploring. location couldn’t be better - but it’s also very quiet for a good rest. we had 5 days here and while it was enough to see Leon, we didn’t want to leave this hotel. would highly recommend.

beautiful colonial city palace with a wonderful patio/garden for breakfast.
A lot of room seem not having window. but that reflects the time that the building was constructed. So it is part of the deal and therefor not too bad.

Our room had been converted from it’s intended purpose into a hotel room so it was somewhat odd.

Staff were amazing. Breakfast was great and the original hotel and interior courtyard is beautiful.
They added a wing of rooms that did not convey the charm of the original hotel, and charged us the same rate for the inferior rooms as they did for the nicer/ original rooms. The pool was very small and surrounded by rooms rather than greenery or space, so it was not enjoyable to spend an afternoon at. We headed out to Coco Calala and enjoyed the pool there, instead.

Classic Leon Antique 3.5 -4 star Hotel. Attention to detail. Nicely appointed rooms with cold A/C, antique furniture throughout the hotel, beautiful courtyards, nice modern pool, good breakfast. Old time bar.
Staff was super nice and accommodating. Decent Breakfast. Rooms all named after poetry from the famed Dario Rubio. Felt like a time capsule. Very comfy and super safe!
Note: the hotel is under remodeling so some of the facade of the walls etc.. are being prepped for repair/ painting, but really did not take away from the over all pleasant atmosphere of the hotel.

Beautiful colonial hotel in the center of Leon. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Local breakfast (gallo pinto) was included and delicious. Excellent stay.
I think this might be one of the best hotels in town.
