Beautiful rooms. Especially high ceilings very special. Everything was carefully thought out. Including the additional kitchen area. Would highly recommend.

Lovely character filled old hotel. Bed was very comfortable, room was spacious and well set out. The communal kitchen was fantastic, eggs, bacon, cereals etc.. all provided for you to cook at your leisure.

Could make it clearer on arrival as to where to go to check in. As it's a working pub, we had to wander around looking for reception and ended up asking at the Bar. So just a couple of signs in the car park or as you enter would be great.

Great sized room. Mini bar and tea and coffee pod choices. Fabulous provisions for breakfast. Good central location. Downstairs hotel offers great restaurant meals. Warm fire.

That there wasn't a direct entrance to the accomodation from the carpark. You have to walk through the dining room or around the outside of the hotel.

The room was big and the bed comfy. Good amount of complementary amenities and the bathroom was nice and big with a big shower.

I appreciated being able to cook my own breakfast but might have liked it an option for a breakfast cooked for me as I was up early.

room was huge but still had a lovely cosy feel. spa was just what we needed after a day on the road.
