The pool was nice, and the location was amazing, right in the beach and a short walk to Dominical town center, but tucked away enough to be quiet.

It was not very clean, and the kitchen was super small.

It is near the beach. The pool is refreshing.

The pool area is nice, and the staff friendly. Everything else disappointing. Yes its low budget, but it costs nothing to get a bedside table with a 2$ lamp. Or a cheap wardrobe to hang something, anything. Or a simple hook for the towels. Common sense...

The bed was set nicely, and the towels. The plants in the hotel area are kind of nice.

The rooms are worse than we expected for the price. We had been in cheaper hotels with much better rooms. The rooms downstairs smelled moldy. The reservation said the room has cable tv, it didn't. No AC, the fan is super loud so we could not use it the whole night. The toilet did not flush properly, shower was bad. From the room we can hear the naighbours shouting, snoring, speaking, sneezing, etc. If you ate planing to visit, make sure you have earplugs. The other room had broken window, no mosquito net, very rusty fan, the ac from the next room kept a loud noice the whole night ..like sleeping next to a tractor. The small pool is crowded by noisy people. The common kitchen was rather dirty.

The person working at the front desk could not have been more rude and unhelpful. He told us all the wrong times for local buses and appeared incredibly put out every time I asked him for something. He also used 640 for the exchange rate from colones to USD when the rate is 605, thus charging more than what was quoted. There was nobody present the entire morning when we wanted to leave the next day (at 9 am) and had to walk up the road to a random hostel who graciously stored our bags for us for the day. Would never stay here again.

Very worn down and kind of messy. Both the pool and restaurant area was not very inviting. Smelly and cockroaches in the bathroom. Bad value for the money.

The hotel was dirty and run down - the kitchen was grimy and we had to wash everything before we used it. The bathroom was dingy and neither of us had a proper shower at the property because of this. The towels were provided but stained. The pool looked too dirty to swim in, and the rest is a construction site. Our room was okay, the wall was painted to look dirty (?) but noticed our bed and bags were infiltrated by termites and cockroaches. Once we informed the staff, by which point we had sorted the problem ourselves as he was nowhere to be found, he was unbothered and dismissive, “yes I see” and there was no apology or compensation offered. While we appreciate it is low season so inefficient to upkeep the place, it could’ve done with a quick once over since they were expecting us. As we are travelling this was meant to be a spot of luxury but was a waste of $80 - I might have preferred to stay at a hostel or in the tents. I wish I had paid through booking.com rather than at the property as there is no chance of compensation now

Really good location very close to the beach

Rooms are very basic, but okay. I stayed a few nights here with a friend, and then on my own, but I did not feel comfortable to stay more nights here by myself as a solo female traveller because many rooms were not occupied and there were several men there doing maintence on the building, when I visited in June.

Staf was very friendly. Helped me with alot of things like the bus time. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great location close to beach and village center. Facilities were basic but ok, especially if you just stay one night or two. The room heated up quite a bit during the day despite the fan.
