At first it was accommodating but they did not have the capacity to deal with a group of 18.
They provided a luggage stow while we were in Machu Picchu.
The manager did help us with our booking.
Inconsistency with staff services like ordering transport that was confirmed at least three weeks before left us paying much higher rates at the last minute because they didn’t arrange as promised. There was no hot water for an entire day of our stay followed by a night with at least two hours of no water at all on the property. The rooms were very cold to the point where the lobby sometimes seemed warmer.

Diana was accommodating and the first guy at check in, the others were hardly helpful.
Inconsistency in staff and them knowing about the property.

The staff was very friendly, great location

We stayed only one night but the hotel was clean with comfortable beds, warm bedding, and hot shower water. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. They packed us breakfast to-go bags with a pleasant assortment of breakfast items for our very early morning departure. The hotel offers 24-hour self-serve tea. It’s located a bit further out from the heart of touristic activities but requires only a short taxi ride. There are a couple of stores nearby for purchasing snacks and drinks. Overall, a simple but comfortable place to rest when you’re passing through Cusco city.

Danny and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Especially Danny who exceeded our expectations day one to our last day of stay in Cusco. He provided all the information we needed as well as services and restaurant recommendations.
There's a mold on the bathroom ceiling on the first room that me and my husband stayed at.

super friendly and helpful staff. room was always very clean and they tidy it up every day. location is perfect and very close to the main square

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good temperature room despite no heating or cooling. Comfortable and large bed. Nice breakfast. Laundry services. Location a little far from the main square but didn't mind the walk.
There is no hot water in showers. This is an absolute must when staying in a cold place like cusco! It was one of the only reasons I booked this hotel before departing on a sleeper bus to Bolivia. Ended up booking a dorm bed at tucan hostel just to have a hot shower! I would have given this place a higher rating if it weren't for that.

near Inca Rain train station, night time front lobby was very helpful, when there was no water and hot shower,
There is no hot water, first day, and all water including toilet was stopped first day.

Principe III is in a safe location and close to a grocery store and market. There was a general seating area, 10-15 minute walk to the main area of shops, restaurants, churches, etc. and the rooms were very clean. Laundry service was affordable and easy to use. Good wifi.
The breakfast wasn't good (after 2 mornings we bought our own food), there was limited hot water for tea, the hotel staff would not respect our "Do not Disturb" sign, depending on your room location you will always hear the 24/7 doorbell tune. They made copies of our passports upon checking in and afterwards left them unattended at the desk with easy access. I had to firmly explain why I am not comfortable with this.

Great location for us as we were going to Aguas Calientes the next day - you depart from Wanchaq Station which is no more than a 3 minute walk from here.
Coca tea on arrival was also lovely to help adjust to the altitude.

Location was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

good location
very noisey all night. did not get any sleep

It’s near the bus station Wanchaq, only 2 mins walk. I took a night train + bus from Machu Picchu to Cusco. so I selected this hotel. Very convenient to walk from the station. I had a kings size bed in my room. There is window and hot water for shower. My booking also included breakfast. The front desk person Royert is very helpful. In general it was good for the value and people are helpful.
The check out time is between 9:00-10:00am. since I took the night bus arrived the hotel at night, it’s early for me to check out in the next morning.
There is a door bell beside the gate you have to press it to enter because the gate is closed. It’s on the left side of the metal gate. Then take the elevator to 4th floor.

We stayed at Principe on two different occasions, first for 2 nights when we landed in Cusco, and next for one night when we came back from Machu Picchu to fly out next day. This was extremely convenient as the hotel generously agreed to store our luggage during our two day trip to Machu Picchu, carrying which would've been a nightmare. That's an example of exceptional hospitality we received here, and how kind, gentle, soft-spoken, helpful, and caring the hotel staff was. They offered us free coca tea and helped us get taxi for airport and Secret Valley trips. They are always there at the front desk for whatever you need. They do not know English but their knowledge of Google Translate helped immensely. The morning breakfast every day was amazing with respect to its quality, volume, and their frequency to replenish. The location is impeccable; walking to major attractions such as Qorikancha, Main Square, San Pedro, Saqsaywaman, etc. It's right next to Estacion Wanchaq where Peru Rail back from Machu Pichhu dropped us, which was extrememly convenient as we could just walk back late at night. The rooms were clean and quite good - they have hot water, heater/AC, and the beds are comfortable. Overall a great find.
Only bad part - rooms scarcely have any charging points. We had to either charge our phones in the breakfast room and make a choice between watching TV or charging. Also, the guests at night were rowdy, boisterous, and completely callous about other guests. The hotel didn't do anything to make sure other guests are not getting disturbed, especially while sleeping. That soured our otherwise lovely stay here.

the staff was really nice. and we could also take our breakfast with us because we left really early. the Wi-Fi is really good

Amazing breakfast 10 min walk to main area. Safe building and it had parking.
Water was only hat in the am for showers

Le chauffage était incroyable et vraiment nécessaire. ma douche la plupart du temps bonne chaude.
Every morning plates, cups and glasses are missing at breakfast, we have to ask every time and this is tiring. The only day we came back from a trek there was no hot water. When we asked for a vegetarian take-away breakfast, there was meat in the sandwich so I couldn't eat anything and the second time the breakfast had not been prepared and even a bottle of water was not possible. It took 3 days to get a shower mat and I asked for a hand towel and we never got it in 5 days.
3.9
cheap and cheerful. breakfast was late on most days and could do with actually using the burners to keep warm. breakfast setup requires constant attention and items were continually missing. staff would provide when asked.
room was very humid but air condition worked well for cool and heat.
staff were very friendly
