A great, friendly, cosy, family run pub. Excellent food. Comfortable rooms.
Nothing really to improve. An issue with the heating in the room was quickly dealt with.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at 5 Dials a charming pub accommodation in the heart of a quaint English village. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and friendly welcome from the staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home.
The room itself was clean with a comfortable bed, crisp linens, and all the amenities we could need, including a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with fluffy towels and a powerful shower.
Breakfast was lovely, the food was hot and very tasty, thank you Sarah for my morning after hangover drink !
Overall, we couldn't fault our stay at The 5 Diala. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the food was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend this pub accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the 5 Dials.

The Five Dials is a friendly, traditional, vibrant village pub. We only live twenty minutes away and have popped in for drinks when passing over many years (it's extremely convenient to the A303). On this occasion, we decided to take some friends there for dinner and to stay over, so we could properly celebrate their wedding anniversary!
The weekend was a great success. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, the bar offers a good pint of Otter - together with a lovely atmosphere and buzz. Our dinner was absolutely delicious - first class cuisine, with a focus on local, independent suppliers and plenty of choice for vegetarians (and non!). Breakfast was also excellent.
The manager, Sarah, looked after us so well - and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. A BIG THANK YOU to all the team.
For longer stays, the Five Dials is in a really excellent location for exploring the Somerset Levels - and is also close to the Devon and Dorset borders.

Room was basic but warm, clean, easily accessible during day
Room not serviced if staying more than one night. Only one chair in a double room. Lighting poor at end of room where tea making facilities were. Drinking glasses in room were plastic. Cooked breakfast menu to choose from eg ‘English breakfast’ and glass of orange provided but no cereal to begin with or toast and marmalade afterwards. Although this was provided when asked for. However, toast was provided with the cooked breakfast.
