Easy Access to the Beach.

I am sadly writing this after trying to sort it out on good terms with them. We booked the most expensive suite which was beyond beautiful as in view and the interior. We booked an additional room as well as had all the family. We wanted a great three relaxing days after Garden route and lots of driving and travels. In fact, we chose this quaint hotel due to the views and beach access and it's facilities specifically. Sadly, our 3 days there were a nightmare for us staying in the panorama suite. I have understood very well how load shedding works here as been here for a month but in this case it was different. The AC system had a filter error and the temperature of the suite was close to 40 Degrees Celsius as it was marking. I approached them immediately and contacted them continously to try and get us someone to look into it. At first, they even tried to blame the load shedding but this was not a load shedding case. The AC simply did not work. I have told them that I will find a hotel closed by and go and sleep there as instead of relaxing we ended up having a very negative experience and both of us going for walks in the middle of the night as we couldn't stand the suite hot temperature. They insisted that it will be taken care of. On the last night it was much hotter and in the middle of the night demanded a solution as they insisted for us to stay but this was a nightmare. I should have walked out on the first day I realized it wont ever be fixed. They provided a restaurant fan which was huge for a bedroom but at least it helped us get 2 hours of sleep. (you don't want to imagine the noise) I have approached them to see if there is anything that could be done also because it was not just one room I personally paid for but for the entire family.

Personal gibt sich Mühe ist aber leicht überfordert. Küche im Frühstücksraum ist offen. Leider riecht die Kleidung nach Essen.

The property is beautiful, great location and the breakfast was nice, although limited menu.

During our first night, were given a standard room with pool view even though we paid for deluxe room with sea view - this was disappointing. I had to prove with pictures from booking.com.

The staff were amazing and very helpful.

It had a swimming pool that was always cold, so we couldn’t use it.

On Saturday morning when housekeeping was done they took all the towels and we had nothing to use after shower

Exceptional service from the staff, kudos especially to Nathan for going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. We can't fault anything from cleanliness to delicious meals, and let me not start on the breathtaking panoramic views. Wow , wow. Highly recommended. Thank you, and God bless!

The breakfast was very good. A continental selection plus a hot breakfast made to order. Nice long breakfast hours too. The staff are really lovely, polite and friendly and very willing to assist wherever they are needed. Lunch is also available to order, either in the dining room or around the pool. The leisure area is excellent - a lovely pool deck with comfortable loungers, with direct access to the beach. The beach goes on and on for kilometres, so long walks are highly recommended. As you come off the beach there is a shower in the corner to wash off sand and seawater. The communal lounges with fireplace, microwave, oven, stove and dishwasher would be very useful for those wishing to prepare their own meals. Crockery, cutlery, plates etc available on request from dining room.

We liked our room as well as the pool area

Very warm wellcome, by Carolyn and her friendly staff. Beautiful setting close to the beach. Starfish 1 is a perfect and spacious room with all what you need. Breakfast is top, especially the spicy omlets. The special fine dinner experience was awesomme. A very warm thank you to all of the SOUL Atlantic Palm team. Hope to see you again.

Can not find anything.

The location was amazing for the beach and the view. Excellent for beach sports ie kite surfing, windsurfing. The staff were friendly and management extremely helpful and friendly. Room was large and airy and cleaned daily.

No alcohol license. No food after breakfast other than a light lunch but saw no one partake. No evening meal offered so had to travel as only one small cafe which was a 10 min walk. Only a couple of nice places to eat and a good 20 min Uber drive away. Cooked breakfast very greasy and needed more attention to cleanliness ie change dirty tablecloth between clients, provide clean towel to hold bread whilst cutting as none provided.

The place is very convenient and close to Cape Town, you can see the lovely view of Table mountain, and the easy access to the beach is only a walkway from the stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is amazing, the rooms are clean, our stay felt just like home. Definitely will recommend everyone to come and visit and stay at Soul Atlantic Palms, as I will choose this place again when I come back to visit.

contact details need to be updated, as it was a little frustrating trying to call the hotel and notifying them that we will be checking in late. but that was only a minor issue
