We really enjoyed our stay at Hostel Ilbris. The owner was very friendly. Because of the weather we were not sure if it is possible to hike to the Ala Kul Lake, his brother gave us all the necessary information and even called us to make sure that we are safe because of the snow. It was also no problem to leave our luggage for one night. The room as well as the shared bathroom was clean and comfortable. The traditional breakfast was nice and more than enough. We felt very welcome! :)

The hostel is ran by a lovely family. The mom will make sure all facilities are ready for you and next day she will prepare a delicious breakfast. She can also prepare lunch and dinner at your request. They have a small garden, where you can pick the fruit you like! She prepares good jam with the strawberries from her garden. Her son speaks English and will solve any problem or if you have any question. They have a free private parking but you can also park outside (it’s safe). Cannot ask for more! Thank you.

Excellent breakfast ! Comfy bed Friendly host

Not enough hot water for 2persons Host’s alarm rang at 4:00am and then talk loud. Very thin wall between our room and theirs, so can hear snoring, but nothing that bad.

Lovely family stay in a separate annex. The family were helpful, respectful and great hosts. Food was delicious and generous. A 10minute walk from the centre.

everything!!! extremely nice host, great cooker - you have to eat dinner there, delicious! we regreted that we cant stay for a longer time
