This place was my fourth accommodation in Zanzibar and I liked the most. The place is clean, nice staff, the manager is very helpful, the owner is very nice. And the room is big and very nice designed. The terrace is very cozy and relaxing. I would recommend to a friend for sure.

The room was very spacious, bed very comfortable. The aircon/fan kept the room very cool. The balcony was a lovely place to relax with a complimentary coffee in the morning. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, it was delicious and we were very full every day.

The staff was always extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and gave us great tips and suggestions, helped us organize tours, etc. We got the room with the outdoor bathroom and we are happy we did as it was a great and unique experience! The room and all the premises were extremely clean and inviting. The location was great as it was very close to everything beaches, restaurants, money exchange, souvenir shops, bars, etc. Although it was not "beach front", it did not take anything away at all as it was extremely peaceful and relaxing surrounded by beautiful greenery. The breakfasts and coffee were by far the best breakfasts we had anywhere in our 2 weeks in Tanzania/ Zanzibar. Everything was just 100% spot on :)

Don’t hesitate, book it! Writing this review after staying in 2 other highly rater hotels in Zanzibar, and I have to say that ATII GARDEN was our highest standard and a place we’ve been missing further. - First, it is beautiful. The area is a cozy green garden, very quiet but close to everything. The rooms are spacious, it’s a real pleasure both to be inside and to enjoy own terrace. - The design, furniture and materials are of a high quality and very thought through, you can feel the attention to detail. Everything is made with taste. - The bed is super comfortable, it’s like you’re sleeping on a cloud. - The breakfast was also very good. The restaurant itself was under renovation so was serving only breakfasts , but lunch or dinner could be arranged a day in advance. - The staff was very polite and attentive, good cleaning done daily and quickly. - The hotel provides beach towels in a special bag, and those are replaced daily.

Just a few little things for a perfection: - Our sleep was a bit disturbed by some insects or worms obviously living in the wooden elements of the room. We didn’t see any of them, just heard the gnawing. It’s not the negligence of cleaning - it’s a natural thing which requires more treatment. - The laundry service took 2 days instead of 1, and it would be nice to have the clothes ironed.

Breakfast excellent. Rooms eco-stylish. Beach very close, 2 minutes walk.

Gardens and serenity of the place. Staff is super friendly.

ATII Garden is located exactly between the two best beaches in Nungwi. It features a calm and quiet garden where you can retreat to from the busy beach and the hot sun. The breakfast is exceptional and Gil and Ricardo are helping with any needs, tx for the nice stay and that sugar cane juice ;)

The friendly service and garden area was nice. This is a cute little place and a decent location! It did serve its propose for a clean spot to sleep. The staff were kind and the food was really nice. We also enjoyed the company of Shamsaah the local monkey who would join us for bfast.

Interiors were slightly dated and facilities could have been nicer!a kettle/ more water in the room could have improved the overall experience. I was impressed with the photos but didn’t feel it quite matched up to my expectations. I might be bias as I have stayed in hotels and airbnbs that have been way nicer!that said it did serve its propose for a clean and cheap spot to sleep. Garden area was cool! The food menu was nice and I enjoyed the oats and mango.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was so delicious and the staff was very friendly all the time. Highly recommended!
