A recommander.

Truly a wonderful stay. A genuine farm stay experience. Large apartment with great kitchen and lots of space. Horses in the paddocks and beautiful Lappy the farm dog is always happy to say hello. The views from the apartment overlook the horses paddocks and are absolute waterfront. Ragnhildur was so welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend this place.

It was such a great stay! The apartment had everything what we needed. Comfortable beds, a nice dining place for the whole family, a good kitchen, heating, … and we never had a better view from an accommodation. The horses are near and could be approached which was the most important reason for us to choose this place. Ragnheidur was such a nice host! Many Thanks and hope to come back one day again.

We had a full apartment for us, it was like being at home. The host was very nice and provided for breakfast as well. Position was very nice front of the lake. Horses, tranquillity, extremely cheerful dog, the kids loved him! Thank you!

We had a very joyful stay in Namshestar. The flat has a great view over the fjord to the Esja mountain.
Everything was very clean and with cozy inventory. Also Ragnheidur is a very pleasant and kind host, always available and helping at any time (even with preparing a delicious birthday surprise for my girlfriend :)). It was simply the perfect start for our holidays in Iceland...

The stay was very comfortable and cozy. The host was welcoming and made arrangements to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Will highly recommend. The view was awesome.

Great land lady, very helpful and friendly.
Room was large and location very nice, not too far from Reykjavík for a last stop over before flying out of Iceland.
Property has also an incredibly friendly small dog greeting you when you come and amazing horses on site that you can pet.
It is quite a remote location - Iceland is safe, but I guess a lock/key on the internal bedroom/apt door would be nice to have. Not necessary, just beneficial!

The place is really big and clean, and we had a fully equipped kitchen. The location was amazing, and we couldn't ask for a better view, it was outstanding. The host was really sweet and helpful, and she was really accomodating ! In bonus, we were welcomed by horses and a dog.
We were kinda confused about the house because we didn't understand we would be on the lower floor. We knocked on the front door and the host answered really quickly to help us. The debit of the water in the shower was pretty low, but I believe it's to save water. We tried to use two cooking plates on the stove but the electricity turned off for the whole house. It was a bit embarassing but our host came immediately to help us ! Don't expect cooking a lot there, it's only for the minimum.

There were eggs, toast/jam, fruit, and coffee for us for breakfast. We didn't have time for eggs but really appreciated and enjoyed the toast, jam and coffee.
Nothing! We had a great stay and had everything we needed.

Stunning horse property on the water! I visited here for one night with two friends. The apartment was comfortable and warm with a beautiful view. Ragnheidur was a gracious and accommodating host. She was kind enough to show us around her property and even introduce us to some of her gorgeous and sweet horses. She provided us with some breakfast items for the morning and we had a wonderful conversation with her about her history on the farm as well all of our mutual interests in science, horses, and education. One of the best parts of our stay was the friendly dog Lappi! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone traveling around Iceland.

The farm was really nice, and the owner was friendly. She even bought some things for breakfast for us! The beds were comfy.

This is a gorgeous property!!! The host is amazing - she let us socialize with the horses and hike around the vast landscape. The downstairs apartment was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!!!!

Great location and view for this apartment situated on the ground floor of a house. The view is really amazing. Our host was really nice, and her cute dog welcomed us as soon as we got off the car ! This was a very convenient location for a one night stop from the Golden Circle to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The apartment is very spacious and can fit more than 4 people (we were only 2 but enjoyed having our beds plus a sofa from where we could enjoy the view). There is also a kitchen for breakfast or if you need to cook basic things.
The curtains are not completely light proof, bring a mask if you are visiting during summer and are sensible to light when sleeping

This is a hidden gem. Host is great - she's very attentive and accomodating. She let us roam around and follow her when doing her horse chores which was very interesting. The water / mountain views were an added bonus.

Very spacious room with kitchen making a stay of multiple days a breeze. The owner warned us about an income snow storm and provided some guidelines to keep my rental car safe. The rooms provide a nice view on the waterside and with the correct conditions, you could probably spot the northern lights from inside. Will certainly come back when visiting Iceland in summertime.

You are on a farm with a panoramic view over the Hvalfjörður. The apartment is on the ground floor. The host is very kind, she lives on the first floor. Her dog and horses complete a true Icelandic experience.
One bedroom with queen size bed, 3 beds were in the (big) living room but separated by wardrobes from the sitting area. It feels very warm and pleasant. We had a true winter storm during our stay. This gave us a spectacular view over the fjord from a warm and well isolated living room. Thank you Ragnheidur!
The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped and were probably modern in the sixties. Everything works but don't plan any big cooking or a spa experience ;).

Beautiful location, easy check-in, very quiet and well priced. The apartment is spacious and could definitely accommodate larger groups. The living room is divided up with screens and has a few spare beds. The kitchen is adequate for basic cooking, and it's an easy 10 minute drive to Akranes for access to restaurants and shops. We'd definitely stay here again :)
The only negative thing was that the apartment was quite cold even with all the heaters set to maximum. The radiators are small and few to heat a large space. In summer it would not be a problem though.

The property had the most amazing views of the fjord and mountains on the other side. If you walked along the ocean cliffs, you’d come across a waterfall and a secluded beach.
The shower was very basic.

This is a magical place- the farm is surrounded by ocean and cliffs with meadows on one side and a mountain on the other. The owner is generous with letting you see the horses. Wonderful stay 5/5.

It was in a beautiful place, with mountain behind and ocean in front, though we got in late and left early, so barely got to see how lovely the setting was. A horse watched us in the morning from a respectful distance. Full kitchen available to use.
This is really hard to find in the dark in the rain. The bathroom (and bathrooms in all guesthouses in Iceland) could use more flat surfaces for toiletries bags and more hooks on the walls for clothes and towels. The shower was kind of jerry-rigged, so it got the floor kind of wet, which is why more hooks to hang up things would be a good thing.

Very kind owner, she has lived here for al long time and knows a lot of the history of the surroundings. Beds were warm and comfortable.
We visited in September and it was a bit chilly in the accommodation.
