Close to airport and they offer shuttle service to airport. Room was cute and clean with a nice bathroom. Staff are very friendly, responsive and accommodating.

Location is close to the airport. The property is secure with 2 gates to enter and that are closed at night. Internet works well. Breakfast was good. Loved the paintings by Maria.

Could smell smoke from the guests who smoked outside. Getting there from the airport was hard with the traffic.

The room was good in size. It had a seating area, water in a carafe and a ceiling fan. The common area was centrally located, and they offer breakfast to purchase when you check-in. The common area is where you can find the microwave, etc.

The description on booking shows tv's in the room pictures. However, we were told all tv's had been removed from the rooms. We had difficulty entering the hotel premises because the call box does not work, it automatically goes to a busy tone. We had to call the hotel owner/manager to let them know we were there to check-in. The hotel phone number also doesnt work, except only when used on the WhatsApp application. There was a delay to be let in, so the business next door had to let us in. The gentlemen that checked us in was friendly and explained the remote to enter/exit the gated property. However, we returned later in the evening, and the remote did not work. I called the owner/manager, and she was less than pleased. She argued with us about the remote, and ultimately words were exchanged because of the frustration on both parts and she threatened to throw our stuff out. This is unacceptable. I understand, yes, the time of the call was around 10P, and she sounded asleep, but on a message thread from the owner/manager, I was told it was 24/7. This was not 24/7 service. She came out to open the gate. Day after I decided to check out. I didnt want to risk leaving and finding my stuff in the street. The fact that she would threaten that made me very uncomfortable. When I checked out, I did not ask nor receive the pre-paid amount that had to be paid in cash because they do not accept debit or credit cards. When I let the gentleman know that the remote didnt work, he himself tried it and it DID NOT work for him either! He had to get another remote to open the gate to allow us to get out. I made a reservation at a different hotel for the rest of my stay. I had never experienced this type of customer service in Costa Rica. Again, I understand that the owner/ manager was awakened by our call, but she should have given us the benefit of the doubt when we said the remote did not work.

Very comfortable and quiet accommodations. I slept super-well after a week of challenging physical activities in Osa Peninsula. Perfect for an international arrival or departure. excellent and filling breakfast for $7 extra. I highly recommend!

Only that the neighborhood was very urban and not so conducive for leisurely exploration.

Very convenient location to the airport. Lovely hostess, very informative and friendly. Unique art posted all over the property. Comfy bed in a room where attention had been paid to detail. Breakfast was available. Serving supplies and area were provided if we wanted to bring our own food. Lovely plants and peaceful seating area.

If you are sensitive to noise, the sirport is VERY close, but that's why you are looking in this area, right? It's not walkable to shopping or restaurants, but area restaurants deliver.

the deluxe rooms with terrace are very nice and big.

The standard room which we had on our first night there are very small and definitely not as nice as the deluxe but of course also cheaper.

Convenient location near airport however this place is not really accommodating for late arrival. Our plane was late and we were very stressed that the gate will be closed and we will be with out hotel after already long and stressful day.

The reception/kitchen service was not helpful. Breakfast was cold and kitchen staff looked very sleepy.

We have stayed at Casa Maria on previous trips to Costa Rica. It is very convenient for the airport. Rooms are attractive, clean and very comfortable, as is the central communal area.

No improvements needed.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, air conditioning.

Location, lots of traffic, noise from planes, no parking.
