We just made our own breakfast because plenty of facilities to use at the apartment.

Unfortunately the weather was not that good windy and grey most of the time!

No resort facilities, no bars, cafes, a supermarket with the most basic provisions, a ridiculously priced restaurant which never had patrons, no way of getting anywhere, unless you hire a car, which we didn’t want to do! But there was no indication that there was no local bus service, the beach was not a bathing beach, it was wild and none of this was made clear when booking. So we felt stranded and spent a lot of money on taxis.

Sound insulation could have been a bit better, as we could hear noisy Neighbours. However, nothing serious

Second time we stayed in this apartment. we like it a lot.

kitchen could be better equipped. with Covid, the approach seems quite extreme. we had to buy all products which is a bit much for a few days of holidays.

Great location, near the beach. Apartment is spacious, well-appointed, clean and stylishly furnished. Manager is extremely helpful - even showed up at 10PM to solve an issue.

Heaters not working, and it gets pretty cold in March. Manager came in to fix it (thank you very much), and it worked for one day and then went back to stone cold. Stove is temperamental - turned on with matches/lighter yet not everyone carries those, and no store within a 15-minute drive. Oven no longer working. No hot-water kettle. Glass door towards terrace does not lock (security issue).

The property is on Praia del Rey golf resort which is very beautiful. The beach on the Atlantic ocean is amazing! The layout of the apartment includes a living + dining + kitchen of 80 sqm which is a great place to spend time with family and friends mornings and evenings. Bedrooms have plenty of space, storage and are comfortable. The onsite super market provided everything we needed for breakfast. For dinner we went to the Portuguese restaurant at the entrance of the Resort, to Caldas or Foz do Arleho (amazing fresh fish and great wines!).

Toiletries in the bath room were minimal (2 days). No cleaning was done during the 7 days. Towels and bed sheets were not replaced. There were no kitchen paper towels, no filter paper for coffee, no sugar. Only salt, one pastille for dish washer and some dish washing liquid were available. For over EUR 200/night this felt unnecessarily stingy.
