Großer Pool , großer sonniger Balkon

Kamen mit der Fähre von la Gomera und hatten einen Termin für die Übergabe. Erst nach mehrmaligen Anrufen und einer Stunde warten in der Sonne kam ein übellauniger Mitarbeiter. Die Anlage ist komplett eingezäunt und der Pool nochmalig vergittert. Nur mit Chip zu betreten. Man ist wie in einem Gefängnis.

Value for money. Simple two bedroom apartment. Hot water was great. Winter sunshine on the balcony all day.

Previous guests didn’t fully clean all the utensils and plates, but that is not the hosts issue.

Great position in the south of the island. Great for 2/3. Parking is easy and you are max 1h from almost every place in Tenerife. Staff is nice and prepared.

Palm Mar is not exactly filled with beautiful beaches or attractions, so if you don’t plan to move around you should check for another place.

Check-in only till 7pm. We were initially going to meet this timing but our rental car pick-up had moved to Tenerife North Airport. When informing the manager about the delay, she did not realy care and ordered us to pick up the car the day after, which we did not agree. Instead of being understanding, she said that she could not wait a 15 minute and 15 min delay would result in 20 eur extra fee! Nowhere on the booking platform they mention this fee. I complainted via phone, but without paying the fee there would be no keys, so we agreed to her blackmail. We arrived at 07.15 pm, 15 minutes past latest check-in time but no one to be seen. We called the manager again and we were told someone was on his way in 5 min. 20 min later, still nobody with the keys while we wait outside in the dark. Manager did no more reply to our calls either. No keys and no communication! We were finally met by a friendly gentleman who handed over the keys and showed the apartment. The apartment was ok but very basic, showed multiple signs for renovation : Bathtub used, rust spots everywhere, kitchen very basic and worn out. Price/quality very poor, service by arrogant manager : non-existent. This place deserves much better, starting a friendly manager and some renovation. Until then : avoid this place because you can get better value for your money.

Big swimming pool, good area, the location is great, good communication with the owner.
