I liked the accomodation very much and i appreciate that it looks like in the photos from booking and is not fake. It was very clean and smelled so nice and fresh.

I didn't like there was no kitchen and the internet is not working in the rooms.

Quick and friendly communications with team. Nice design. Very central for nearby typical restaurants.

No WIFI at rooms. There is in the lounge area, though. Also a TV set.

Very calm and cozy space, close to a Metro station, nearby the beach, near Mercado... After reading some reviews I was a bit afraid the metro trains would be too loud, but this hasn't been the case, they run pretty quietly, in my opinion. Sofia and Paulo were extremely nice and helpful, they were actively interested if I'm having a nice stay. Thank you, I couldn't been happier!

The staff was quite nice, trying to tell us everything we needed to know for the stay.

The room wasn’t like the rooms in the pictures. It was small and not comfortable enough for two people. Also, the room and the whole building was really cold, they have us some blankets but it wasn’t enough. The heater the room had was too small and it didn’t warm enough. We couldn’t have a pleasant stay due to the noises outside from the train and the coldness we had to experience. Be careful with the room you choose (or booking chooses for you) but it does NOT look like the ones from the pictures.

Clean room. Good location, gull sounds in the morning :). Staf is not there, but easy to reach thru messages or phone and they react fast.

No Wi-Fi in the room.

Best place to stay at best place to be! For the third time ... BUT: a) light on stairway's been missing, a microwave'd be great ... and the dog waste bag on the other side of the street`s been empty. Just joking. ;-) O Sardenhas is THE place to stay and be in Matosinhos! Will definitely book again, soon!

That we had to leave way too early. That we were never satisfied with the amount of Tostas Mistas and Galao in the extremely nice pavement cafe downstairs. We'd like to stay there all day long ... besides all that longing for the seashore.

Location is good, room is spacious. Clean and quiet.

Double bed for two persons is not good! too small and you rol to the middle . Exit door need to be fixed cause it slams hard, and in the night this slaming might wake people up.

Really nice host! Beautiful room, clean, had our own shower and toilet, nice. Location good. Nice cafe next door also.

The staff responded my messages very quickly and they helped me to find a place to park nearby. The restaurants near the beach are fantastic. Our favourite places were Tito2 and Sabor Típico. Ask the staff where to park. Thanks

I've been to O Sardinhas for the second time (the first stay two years ago). Since I visit Matosinhos and Oporto on a regular base, I know exactly for what kind of accomondation I need to choose there, according to purpose and circumstances. Well, this place is both basic and charming. Mattresses are in a good condition, facilities perfectly tidy and clean, including free tea and instant coffee (water boiler). And it is just stone-cast to metro, beach and the best fish restaurants around. Hope I will be there again, soon. And, there has been some incident: One morning I found the frontdoor unfastened (I might have pulled at it a bit too vigorous). It took only ten seconds (!) for a nice neighbour to call the management. And five more minutes for the owner to check the situation, while we were immediately allowed to leave the place, without any worries. When we arrived back a few hours later, the door has been perfectly fixed again. Great service!

Well, but this goes for Portugal in general: there's no central heating ... But the room is equipped with a small heater, at least ... So - if you are sensitive to cold, you'd better come here in Summer ;-)
