Wonderful location in the countryside above the village of Atena Lucana. The warmest possible welcome. The surprise was that this is a farm that cultivates ancient grains -- not only used in all their baked goods and pastas, but giving the names to each of its 6 rooms. It's the type of place we love and we plan to return to have at least a meal in their beautiful restaurant with its spectacular views of the hills. The room was immaculately clean, linens were lovely, bed was not the most comfortable -- this was the only minus. A charming place over all.

Just the mattress was not supportive. The linens were beautiful though.

Pleasant accommodation in a remote rural setting, very quiet. A good restaurant on site with nice views from the terrace and very pleasant staff. Good value.

Overall we liked the place; it's isolated. Nature around. The building itself is very beautiful and looks authentic. The dining room is spacy and a big fireplace in the middle of it gave the feeling that you don't want to leave the place.

Communication with the staff was difficult because of lack of English language. These's no ability to make yourself a hot drink or heat up something to eat in the room because there are no accessories. And if there was a picture on the wall or any other item that would make the room more homely it would be perfect.

The views and the peaceful surroundings were an incredible surprise . The farmhouse is very comfortable and the restaurant serves great good! Excellent value for money too.

It is a real gem. After a three week trip in southern Italy, it was a real treat to find this place for the last 2 nights (and we didn't want to leave!). We loved everything and can't wait to come again for a week. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the hosts are full of passion for what they do and are very attentive (and even served us breakfast at 06:30), the breakfast is rich (thank you for the eggs!), the animals of the farm are an endless joy. The facilities are very clean and neat. They have a restaurant which is open on weekends - good quality food and amazing house-wine! This is a perfect gateway to relax in a hammock with a book or to go hiking in the area.
