Always a pleasure to stay here. Fabulously decorated and exquisitely furbished rooms. Owners always friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are always a welcome treat: continental style with a variety of cereal, selection of toast, fresh fruit & yoghurt, orange juice and expresso coffee. A stunningly beautiful house in a great location. A genuine must, if staying in Ipswich.

on entering at nigh I was a little lost, but found the entry eventually.

Comfortable rooms. Stayed with family in another room. Appreciated being able to share a balcony.

Stairs, but they were manageable.

Set in a quiet cul de sac this charming house is a beautiful BnB . Hosts pleasant and helpful nice room with shared balcony very comfy bed with all amenities you need. Continental breakfast supplied was lovely they have fruit toast too which gets an extra tick from me.

just loved it. clean, comfortable and spacious, very affordable was not expecting it.owners were nice and pleasant and only to helpful when we asked for information.

the stairs up to room, but got use to them, toilet in bathroom was a little Squeezy as kept hitting head on wall

it is just a great place to stay. Location makes it handy to shops etc and it is in a quiet area.

Everything! The charm of the building, the superbly comfortable beds and bedding, the extra little touches and the delightful breakfast. These lovely owners go over and above to ensure their guests’ comfort. I hope to be back soon!

The room was really nice, the bed very comfortable and the general stay was excellent.

We felt I bit rushed at breakfast. My wife had a small bowl of cereal and I had a nice bowl of fresh fruit and yoghurt. My wife was going to have some fruit too but before she could get it the food was taken away. I’m sure the lady had good intentions, but she was just a little too quick, we felt that we were being rushed out. All the other people had gone down for a 6:00 am breakfast, we were the only ones at 7:00 and maybe that was holding her up a bit. My wife is Thai and they don’t like to be confrontational at all, so she didn't want me to ask for the fruit again. There wasn’t much left anyway, so I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a cost imposition for her to have fruit as well as cereal. I’m sorry, but we just felt a little uncomfortable at breakfast, otherwise the stay was great.

I loved the quirkyness and the history behind the building itself. Peter greeted me and coming from a customer service background, I was very impressed with his skills. It was 10 minute walk to where I needed to be and unfortunately I didn’t get to taste breakfast due to time restraints. Will definitely be back.

The love and care put in to maintain the property and the delightful kind hosts.
