At first it was difficult to get in, but after that everything was fine

The bed was very comfortable. Room was lovely and warm. Had everything I needed.
A side light would have been nice but I appreciate lack of space. Some spare toilet roll in the room would have been appreciated. If it was there, it wasn't obvious.

I booked this stay for a friend and he really enjoyed it. In particular, the evening meal was brilliant! He said everything was spotlessly clean and he had a great night's sleep.
The decor in the room was a little tired in places.

No hot water after first shower, thought it might of been water heater reheating but no hot water still the next morning no staff available to help so could not raise the issue

Reasonably priced single room. Basic, but clean and everything worked.
Run by a Nepalise family who also run the Gurka restaurant that is part of the building. Excellent food.
Limited breakfast. No cereals, fruit or juice. The only chose was variations on a 'Full English'. Very good FE though.

Staff are polite and helpful. Clean comfortable hotel. Breakfast ok however Indian takeaway was lovely. Hotel has cosy bar and restaurant. Can't comment on restaurant as we had takeaway with family. However family told us it was a lovely restaurant
Only negatives were the double bed in the family room was very soft and springs annoying. Breakfast only served 8 till 9am

Slightly tired, but very much as expected and fit for purpose given the very reasonable rate; probably not the sort of inn where you'd spend hours idling at the bar with a drink or two

Breakfast, indeed all meals (restaurant serves Indian meals; Nepali I think), superb. Friendly staff and really welcoming. Lovely warm shower
Noise from road a little intrusive through the night; they forgot tp put toilet paper in the room (!), and light in shower room not working
