We were happy with the price, the refreshments and the products provided to use in the bathroom. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Parking & permit system was very good too.

The room was a little cramped, but not a problem. The main problem was the shower was poor with very little flow/pressure. So we took a bath in another bathroom and same problem it took ages to get to even quarter full and ran luke warm so impossible to get a full hot bath again down to water pressure. Felt like the whole building was being run off a substandard combi boiler.

so well located within a couple of minutes walk of the sea front, shops, bars and harbour.

Everything ! room was super cosy. bathroom was immaculate.

Freezing in room Due to shower room window not closing properly there's no fan in shower room So the room gets damp and no heating controls for you to put on and no proper explanation with Manda about the voucher you use at the cafe and not explained that it's only £4 off a breakfast at the cafe and the cost of a cup of tea is separate it doesn't cover all cost of a breakfast, As when you book the room it's states B&B on listing with breakfast included at the B&B by the pictures of the dining room and it's not you just get a £4 voucher and you only know that it's a £4 voucher when get to the B&B on arrival, it should get explained on booking not after you book it and get a tx saying it's a voucher for a cafe , thinking it's for a full breakfast with a cup of tea/coffee and it's not you have to pay extra yourself, Room could have been cleaner and not have tea/coffee stains on the bed cover and if you want to fill up your tea/coffee/milk it's kept in reception but could of been told on arrival or leave note in room explaining to guests how the B&B is run just to help guest understand if your to busy to communicate with guest , little thing makes it easier for guests so you don't have to chase for breakfast vouchers and go and buy milk to have drink in room , also left feed back in room private for Manda and got calls/voicemail and message no need at all , just left honest feedback to help make it easier for guests to understand on how the B&B run that's all .thanks

Only had one cup in room but two people in room so had to share cup of tea on first morning , the vouchers disappointing about not been explained properly to guest's, not seeing Manda during the stay at the B&B only seen for 5 minutes on arrival to show us to our room's , could benefit from information in the rooms explaining things better to help customers have better stay thank you

Absolutely loved The George Guest House. Could not believe how close it was to the sea. Great facilities and just what we needed for our stay.

Manda was an absolute angel she made our stay perfect so comfortable even had toiletries and such a homely place to be able to fully relax and unwind we both had a such peaceful pleasant stay had the pleasure of going for a walk with Manda and her dog Steve and her son Cameron very much appreciated the lovely walk Thank you for being such an amazing Host we will definitely be back soon 😁🌹🌹❤️🏠

Our fault, we didn't read the small print so wasn't expecting a shared bathroom. And a little too noisy at times- dog barking after midnight.

Manda was fantastic from the moment we arrived, couldn't do another for us. Clean,and comfy accommodation, was there for 2 nights on a lads golf weekend. Would highly recommend this Guest house to anyone.
