I like staying there. It is a good value place. Unfortunately some of the other guests seem to ignore no smoking rules. Better sensors would help a lot to prevent this and would add to safety and reduce smells. The showers are always a challenge. Plenty of hot water though and using the bath is easier. Security lock to rooms access needs repairing- and the code changing. Staff try their very best . I will definitely stay again-- but a few changes could make it much better

Good welcome, basic and a bit old-style room above a pub but all facilities, easy parking and a good meal, Excellent value for money.

I was at a funeral and couldn’t get back to the hotel until later. I telephoned and left a message asking someone to call me back, on both the landline and emergency number. No-one did. Consequently I could not access the room I am putting in a formal complaint

The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was clean, with a large TV and spacious bathroom. Yes, the room was basic, but more than adequate for this extremely cheap price. Highly recommended for travellers on a budget.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, great location. Food at the pub was also exceptional.

Needed the room fixing in some areas aesthetically. The shower also needs fixing for water pressure. Sink tap tops were loose.

Had an excellent stay at the Wellow, location was brilliant, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them (especially the young lady at breakfart, sorry forgot your name). Very comfy beds and the food served was great (portion size and price). In all I recommend statying at the Wellow if your visiting Cleethorpes.

My room was only cleaned once during a 5 day stay and when it was the sheets/bed wasnt changed The shower curtain was stuck to the wall very poorly with sealant instead of being properly installed an fell on my toddler in the shower and hit his head.

. Incredibly disappointed, I believe I should be reimbursed..firstly no heating on in the hotel...constantly leaking taps bathroom freezing, so the quickest showers I've ever had. Staff informed me oh sorry heating has gone off, however I discovered that there had been no heating for ovef a month!!! I believe I was sold this room under false pretences. I believe I deserve my money returned. I picked up a cold and diorea after night one and couldn't leave my room for two days. Incredibly unhappy, I shall not use this service again until I'm at the very minimum reimbursed my fees, spoilt my whole weekend. Yours still in bed recovering at home Mr Den J McGuigan.

Paper flaking on ceiling, taps unable to turn off. Firedoor banging all night (incredibly loudly) people in room opposite first night screaming at each other after midnight for at least a couple of hours (no sign of any security or staff to deal with mater) thin bedding, not even offered a breakfast after freezing night.. Was told contractors were working to fix heating. I never whiteness anyone working anywhere in the building, and there was never a contractors van nor any plumbing or any van at any time during my stay. Incredibly disappointed. I've used booking. Com for years and I've never witnessed or had to suffer anything like this.. I felt Robbed, I do hope I will see action taken immediately.

There was a portable heater in room. Staff were lovely, friendly, welcoming.

Room was freezing. No heating other than portable electric heater(thank god) bath sealer black/mouldy needed replacing, room looked in need of a refresh.

rooms are a good size. nice big bath and location is a nice 10 min walk to the Center.

this is our 2nd stay and both times we have had to argue and show proof we have paid. put a dampener on the stay from the start.

It is always a nice stay I always sleep well and always plenty of tea and coffee

for me closeness to my parents as I visit them but perfectly placed for sea front for holiday makers . very good price
