Super cool lodges tucked in nature. Very beautiful small family resort, right in the jungle. It is definitely a highlight of our trip. Was wonderful to sit on the balcony and enjoy the nature. Design and layout is great and quite unique. Management and staff is super friendly, and breakfast served was delicious. Rooms are spotless clean.

We liked everything about this place. The accommodations are wonderful with a beautiful view into the forest. The owners are super friendly and make everything so that you have the best time in or around Ojochal.

Juan and Ana are exceptional hosts and made this a very special place to stay. The lodge is a beautiful design with a forest backdrop, full of wildlife. It was an excellent place to spend time and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Every day brings a new and delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast was fantastic. Variations on a theme each day were slightly different but incredible. The architecture of the place was impressive and will probably end up in something we build ourselves. Juan and Ana were incredible hosts and made us feel very welcome. The sound of the wildlife was just what we needed to get going on our visit to Costa Rica.

We loved our stay at the yaba chigui lodge. The place was super quiet, very clean, and relaxing. The owners were on site & took very good care of everything. The man is the primary helper! He is very detail oriented & thorough. The breakfast was super tasty with quality food. The showers have super hot water with a huge window looking into the jungle. My favorite part!

The only thing I would have liked to be different was the laundry detergent used. The smell was a very strong fragrance. I prefer non toxic - non chemical soaps! But that’s just me.

Everything was exceptional, the rooms are lovely and the balcony is right in the forest. Breakfast was beyond great and the owners were very nice and gave great recommendations for stuff to do in the area. Highly recommended.

I am not apt to writing reviews, but this experience warrants it. This place was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Juan, the proprietor was above and beyond in hospitality and kindness. The location was amazing, nestled in the jungle with unimpeded views. The facilities were incredible! Outdoor shower and a king sized bed which overlooked the jungle. Breakfast was the best food we ate the whole trip. The produce was exceptional and well sourced: bananas that tasted like tropical fruit, mangoes that were the most flavorful I have ever experienced. This place is a reason in and of itself to visit Costa Rica!
