The valet who picked us up was amazing! House was relatively tidy not clean but tidy.

No functioning stovetop or oven. Requested matches to be able to use the stove top and did not receive them despite the numerous follow ups until 3 days later. Kitchen was dirty, plates and pots still had food scraps in them. Utensils were dirty with obvious food stains. Bathroom rail was broken, see image attached. Bathroom tiles were also mouldy. It was a challenge in itself to shower given the broken shower door that meant water poured onto the ground outside. Buggy was also malfunctioning. Broke down despite being charged the whole night. When we called the buggy shop even the maintenance man himself said that this buggy always has problems because it is so old and owners don’t replace it or upkeep it. Would not recommend this accomodation at all.

My friendly host, Dean met me at the airport :) He led me to my buggy which I’d be zooming around in for six days. He gave me lots of information and escorted me to my fully self contained 2 bedroom apartment which was in a quiet leafy area with stunning ocean views. He was only a phone call away, should I need anything during my stay. My friend joined me for three nights, so a bedroom each was nice. The beds were comfy, neatly made up with clean sheets. Aircon in the bedrooms was a bonus on the hot, humid nights. Beach/pool towels were supplied. Pool was the perfect temperature.

The apartment was not as clean as I’d expected for the price I paid. I bought cleaning products and spent 45 minutes cleaning before I settled in. It was cleaner when I left that when I had arrived but still needed some work. The curtain in the main living area fell down after I arrived, which gave me a fright. I didn’t worry about it though because the outdoor area was private and I enjoyed the view. I reported it as I vacated the apartment, so it could be repaired for the next tenant. The place was comfortable but could do with a spring clean and some minor maintenance. I’d stay there again.

Nothing. It felt like we were camping.

The sofa was old and smelly. The outdoor space was neglected and untidy. The bathroom had broken fixtures - the towel rail was hanging off the wall and the sliding shower screen was broken. The doonas were cheap and revolting .
