It's such a special place, right next to the spectacular Cocora Valley. The cabinet has everything you need, even a little gas fireplace to warm up :) Breakfast is great too!

Communication via booking could have ben better

Even thought the location at night was kind of confusing. Well that’s what you have to expect cause is not a hotel so I was good about it. The view😍 and at night you can see the Milky Way! The place was really confortable.

The place has no potable water. They don’t tell you to bring your own, so you can purchase it there! Nice strategy !

it’s a fish farm. staff not very friendly. price quiet high. there are no food options after about 17:00 and even though it says it has a shared kitchen there is none. we could kindly use the kitchen of the restaurant, which was really friendly of the people there.

Dirty, Not Good breakfast and Not so nice

We got robbed in this cottage by a person who is working there. It happened 2 nights in a row. After the 1st night, we were missing a lot of money. We arrived at the place at 2 AM (in the night), and the only person who saw us was the guy who opened the cottage for us/working there. The next day, before going to sleep (at 11 PM), we counted how much money we have. In the morning, all the money was gone. We kept the money in the same bedroom where we were sleeping. I do not recommend!!!!!

it is extremely rustic. the walls of the cabin do not meet so big bugs were flying in after dark so we had to keep the lights off. the showers were not hot. the beds were comfortable but the rest of the seating was plastic outdoor chairs. you were basically outdoors in the common room. the view was very nice if you looked a certain way, otherwise you are looking at large fish tanks for the fish farm. there were people who were very loud until 10 at night, which usually doesn’t bother me since it’s early, but since you can’t hang out in the main room because of the bugs and the uncomfortable chairs, then you wanna go to sleep early.

Amazing!!! We had a fantastic time staying at this wonderful place. The cabin was completely private with a lovely fireplace and gorgeous views of the Cócora mountains. Our stay was super comfortable, everything was very clean and fresh. The shower also has a beautiful glass ceiling to enjoy nature while taking a shower. Additionally, delicious meals are available upon request. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Our trip highlight was waking up to the Andes Condor next to our Cabin. Absolutely breathtaking!!! Strongly recommended.

Great location. Excellent food. Nice staff. Beautiful views. The gas fireplace warmed the room nicely.

The best thing about it is the location, right by the entrance into cocora loop. you also have a view of the wax palm trees from the chalets. The chalet we rented was really big and nicely equipped and decorated.

Being in the cocora valley it also means you are far from any city and the facilities of a city like supermarkets, restaurants, atms and so on. personally I think you are better off staying in Salento where you have everything you need and take a juntas (jeep) to the entrance of the track for the cocora valley loop. But if you want to enjoy the beautiful palm trees from the comfort of your cabin, then this is a great place but a bit on the expensive side.

Not all the rooms are as in the pictures. There is a constant noise from the fish farm as part of the property. The toilet was not working properly. The staff is totally unavailable after 5 and the bed was VERY uncomfortable

The chalet is located at the beginning of Valle del Cocora. In this way, you can start hiking very early and there is the possibility to walk until the night.

The chalet had not kitchen, just a toaster and the products on the fridge or minibar were totally frozen. The hotel has service just until 5:00pm, there is not a possibility to buy anything around or close to the place. The breakfast starts at 8:30am, very late if you want to walk or ride before the check out. It seemed that the place was not cleaned properly, dust everywhere and the beds and toilets were full of hairs. No body told me how to use the small heater, and the living room is not totally sealed, a lot of spaces between the wooden boards. It has been, for the price, the worst experience in a hotel around Salento.

Perfect place to stay if you’re going to Valle del Cocora, it’s a 5min walk from the property. Everything was super clean, lots of extra blankets and towels. Kitchen was very well equipped. The hot water worked perfectly for 3 showers. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. Plus the breakfast was great.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there is no parking on the property so you have to leave your car in a “parking lot” and walk 3min on a dirt road to get there.

Love the place, the view everything!

People should know that it is a little walk (maybe 0,5-1 km) downhill (and uphill back) from where the jeep lets you off., and it is a bit hard to find.

Amazing view to Cocora Valley, really cozy and pretty modern house built on the hill. The staff is really friendly, prepared breakfast earlier just for us as we wanted to start our hike early. They are fast to respond and keen to help you with anything you need. The house has a fireplace, hot water, comfortable bed and mini bar. This place was like a crown to our Colombian trip.

It is hard path to the property if you travel with luggages. But if you carry backpack or lighter luggage - it is not that bad, just 100m downhill from the parking place.
