The owner is exceptionally wonderful and helpful and kind. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. nice to have a balcony. loved feeding the stray cats. about 10 minutes walk to the beach. fridge in the room and tea kettle.

Deepak was really great. My elderly parents were travelling in earlier, so he met them at 10am and checked them in. I arrived later at 2pm. The pool and the rooms were great and the rooms we had were reasonably sized. He also offered to check out later which was nice.

The kitchen wasn't fully equipped, we had to ask for more mugs and things. The shower also wasn't the best, either super hot or super cold and the water pressure was low, but Deepak helped fix this and it was okay. The electricity did go out once for a bit, and the hot water didn't work the morning we were checking out, but again Deepak let us shower in a different villa next door so it was ok.

Location was good, place was clean and tidy and nice and bright. Host was lovely and very attentive to our needs.

Could improve on basics, a few more items to help in the kitchen would be good. Sharp knife, kitchen towel, grater, coffee mugs, a pot with a lid that fits and a colander would help. And Netflix would be a great addition. We managed with what we had so these are suggestion to improve on an already awesome place.

Close to the beach, stores, restaurants. Valuable for the price, and the owner Deepak is a very good guy, did help me a lot with trip recommendations and also with the car renting! cant wait to be back! 😎💪🏻

Great location, close to the beach, super layout, fruit stand, ATM machine (everything is within walking distance).Deepak is very friendly and ready to help with any questions. We contacted him for car rental, taxi service and questions about excursions. Everything was organized clearly and quickly. We also have a very warm relationship with the neighbors in the villa. Both Deepak and his family are very hospitable people. The apartments have everything you need. On the territory of the villa you can cook grilled food (barbecue). very grateful to Deepak for our stay.

It's very good value for money, the apartment was big enought, it's has 2 bedrooms and a kitchen with all you need. Yes, it's not a five star resort and due to the fact that it's a tropical island there may be some insects like ants, but for the amount of money paid it's very good. It is located 7-10 minutes walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. It even has shared whasing machines which is very convenient. The owner is very nice and helpfull. I would stay here again.

This is not the owner's fault or something directly related to the apartment, but keep in mind that even though the location is close to the beach, there are some stray dogs running around on that street, which, unfortunately, is something comun in Mauritius. So, in the evening when you come back to the apartment walking, being dark, the streets not being very well lit, it can fell a little bit uncomfortable. Nothing bad happend though.

Deepak was extremely accomodating. Very friendly and very kind. The location is really good, only ten minutes to the supermarket and about 12 mins to the beach. I would definitely return.

There was nothing I didn't like, the only thing I would say is that the television didn't work and we were there for two weeks, but luckily we had our phones and tablets for the WiFi. Also the shower was a bit tricky to use, but he did inform us of this before. It is a very good villa and I would definitely return and recommend.

The apartment is very small but sufficient, equipped with everything you need, clean with a beautiful balcony, the price is perfect. The owner is amazing, 10 minutes walk to the top beach of Flic en Flac, I RECOMMEND.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Deepak who gave us a comprehensive briefing on the facilities and nearby places of interest. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The location was great, easy walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Having on site private parking was great. All in all a perfect stay.

Studio with pool view was huge and well equpited. Comunication with owner can not be rated different like 100%. Owner Deepak was really helpfull with trips around the island and he also helped us with car rental (Option Car Rental ltd) which we definitly recommend. We also get a welcome drink on our arrival. Around the area you can find lots of restaurants and bars too. To the beach which is beatifull trought the day and awesome for sunsets it takes around 10 minutes walk.

The owner was very kind and welcoming. The whole building is nice and you can easily walk to flic en flac beach. We even could use a kitchen that we hadn’t booked!

The room was very small I would recommend to choose the larger apartments when booking at Ashmara. The shower had only cold or boiling hot water. But I think the owner can easily fix it :)

Plus: very clean, very good located ( only a short way to the beach and the very good Restaurants nearby), very quiet Plus plus: a welcome beer was included Plus plus plus: Deepak and his wife Honey were one of the kindest hosts I ever met, maybe even the kindest ones. We felt like family and get every kind of support e.g in organizing daytrips, a car, and so on....we will miss them a lot

The hosts were exrremly friendly and helped with everything. The pool was great. There was a commune kitchen which was a bit small but had everything you need. Also the use of the washing mashine was free. The guesthouse was about 10 minutes walking to Flic en Flac beach which is one of the best beaches in Mauritius and has plenty of food stands. And the place is in a quiet neighborhood.

There was no window. You ventilate the room through the door.

The location is 7 minutes walking to Flick and Flack beach, supermarket, travel agencies where you can book your tours and local bars. Overall is clean and it’s nice and quiet for people who would like to relax, although the space is quite small. The host Dipak was very nice and helpful with everything that we asked during our stay. He welcomed us with drinks on the first day and also arranged a taxi for our way back to the airport with a very good price.

The last day there was a problem with the hot water deposit which made it impossible to take a shower.
