Lets make this very clear - IT IS NOT A COTTAGE ! This is a ground floor apartment. It is a good size however and quite well equipped with plenty of space.

The lights have to be on at all times as it is very dark due to being ground floor and the trees out the back and the balconies from the upper apartment blocking all natural light. The advert states 'private garden' but this is in fact a walkway out the back that serves all flats in the street. The roads leading up to it consist of very steep hills, narrow roads that are barely wider than paths and incredibly tight bends. Parking is virtually impossible as the allocated space is small and tight so the passenger has to get out before entering the space otherwise you can't open the door.The apartment above was being renevated throughout our 3 week stay and there was junk everywhere on the balconies both front and back and workmans vans blocking the roads, they worked from 7am until 10pm some nights and were very noisy. We had no offer of cleaning or clean bedding during our stay and although there is a washing machine, there is no dryer so washing towels and bedding was a task that consited of draping things over radiators to get them dry so they could be used again the same day. We had zero contact from the hosts.

Attention to the small things, broken bedside lamp placed in cupboard? Other lamp not working, used bulb from broken lamp. Unable to open back doors at times, don't forget picture frames collect dust as do ledges. We avoided the shortage of loo roll! mentioned by past visitors. What was with the shrub cuttings placed in the front garden?

Clean warm well appointed spacious accommodation. Lovely location. Nice woodland view. Felt at home within minutes.

Having to leave so soon Could have stayed much longer. Property is in the shade because of the beautiful woodland location. You can't have everything!!
