I wish there had been a clothes’ drying rack. We were caught in a summer rain and had to dry our clothes draping them on radiators, chairs, etc.

Luigi is amazing man. Apartment’s very nice and comfortable. very close to the city center. Parking is available in 200 meters from apartments.

The location is fine - you can walk into the city centre easily and it's a good base for exploring the area. If you come by car, there is a nearby 24hr underground car park, which always has spaces (and nightmarish, semi-circular ramps between floors). It charges a typical 16euro per day. The air conditioning in the flat was a good feature which worked perfectly and was very welcome on the hot days. There is a handy mini-supermarket just round the corner and a friendly restaurant serving good food about 50m away.

The vertical sound proofing between flats is very poor. The residents above us were night owls and kept us awake with loud talking, music and dragging furniture across their tiled floor, sometimes until 2.30 in the morning. Unfortunately, the dishwasher tablet door was broken so we didn't dare use it. With only 5 mugs provided we were regularly washing up. The dining room chairs were possibly the most uncomfortable chairs we have ever sat on. If you sat in the middle, you sagged down and the hard perimeter frame cut off the blood supply to your legs. The white covers had not been cleaned for sometime. An important thing to point out to would-be visitors is that there is no lift. My wife and I ( both in our seventies) struggled with heavy suitcases on arrival and departure getting to/from the second floor. The television was able to show hundreds (literally) of Italian channels but we were unable to tune to anything else. The 'coffee machine' mentioned in the flat description turned out to be just a Moka type stovetop espresso maker - not the usual electric machine with pods which are so common now.
