As this was a quick booking for me I found this place to be accessible to the main route into Wellington. It was good value for money, costing $870.00 for 4 adults (shared a bed with sister) and facilities good. It was also walking distance to Petone township. Overall experience, very good. Stayed 3 nights.
Suited our needs so no dislikes here.

Location. Handy to Esplanade and cafes
Cold room. Electric blanket didn't work. Manager forgot to change it but owner very obliging and came after hours with replacement. Room heater ineffective in heating room sufficiently.

The unit was warm and the location was great.
The unit did not appear to have been cleaned, nor the sheets changed. There was a crumpled towel in the bathroom and mould on the floor and walls. The bed in the lounge was very narrow. The "sea view" was a tiny window with a patch of the sea in the distance. Not worth the money.

Location was walking distance to restaurants and reasonably central.
The bed was so soft it offered no support at all and I ended up limping all stay with hip problems.

The room and fittings were very dated. The bathroom floor tiles had peeling paint.

Proximity to City and Hutt Valley.
Bed was quite hard. Quite a noisy road. Room service left us without bathmat and handtowels. And also didn't service our room one day until I rang and asked. The guy from reception was very good. Very accommodating and helpful and put things right when asked. He was great.

The hosts were extremely hospital and friendly and eager to make the stay enjoyable and straightforward, especially given that I had to check in late. The room was extremely clean, which is the most important thing to me. I'd stay there again.

Bathroom ceiling paint peeling, dead cockroach in shower, towel rail about to fall off, painted floor tiles paint peeling, vinyl tiop surface showing extreme signs of wear. Electrical certificate for electric blanket expired July 2021
