A fully renovated place, feels like a "Nordic design" guesthouse. A room for 3 with private bathroom was spacious enough, and had everything we needed. The communal kitchen/terrace was incredible! Breakfast was unsophisticated but had a little of everything, and good coffee (a must for me!)

Cleanness, staff, room

The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The location was very central, easy to walk everywhere - there is a supermarket and tram stop across the street. It was great to have use of the kitchen and private fridge space. Love that it's just for women - feels very safe and friendly.

Would love a spare pillow. Bathroom gets too much wet when use the shower.

I loved the central location. It was easy to get around to the places I wanted to go. I also liked the individual lockers in the fridge to lock up food if I wanted to.

Always happy to come back here. I love the location of the guesthouse and the helpfulness of the staff. You have everything you need and more. It is so relaxing knowing you can use the entire kitchen and your private fridge at any time. It made buying groceries for a longer stay much easier. Until next time!

The room is very spacious for 2-3 people. The staff and the overall hotel itself was very friendly and felt incredibly safe. We really liked that it was all just for women. The room and shared kitchen were very clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is nice with a decent array of yogurt, cereal, and toast.

No complaints, the staff were very accommodating when we requested more pillows and even let us borrow an umbrella for the day.

Bread at the breakfast was excellent.

The wall-socket was too small for a round plug.

Very convenient location beside a church and a 15 mins from the central train station as well as the dontown area. Comfortable room with healthy and convenient breakfast. Actually the acoustic is not the best but guests are all very quiet. Very friendly staff and very clear information for self check in.

My staying in Josephine's Guesthouse has exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, clean and warm, and the bed was very comfy. Amazing view from the top floor. The hotel is in a great location: 10 min walk from Zurich HB train station and 5 minutes from the old town. The breakfast is enough and there is a fully equipped kitchen (very clean!) which can be used by the hosts to cook your own meal and/or cakes. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful (thank you, Laura! :) ). They really care about their clients well being. Indeed I arrived at 11 am and I had to work. Even if my room was not ready yet (the checking was supposed to be at 3pm), the staff has satisfied my needs, allowing me to work from the top floor and prioritizing my request to get the room ready. You can arrive at any time (even late evening/night) in the hotel to do the checking, because they have the possibility to leave the room key in a secure locker. Same thing for the checkout, you can leave the key in the secure locker before leaving (if there is no person in the front desk). Highly recommend to stay here and I would certainly go back.
