The price is really good. The location is beautiful and so connected to nature. The owning family is just sweet and the food is tasty and affordable. You‘ll have to be aware that you don’t get the fanciest bungalow for such a price. It’s really simple and you’ll share with all kinds of insects. But for 2 days, it was a beautiful experience and great to save some money. And they take such good care of you!

The host is really friendly and accommodating ! The BIG plus of this place is the free transfer to the Khao Sok center thanks to their pick up. Expeditions are available from the hotel (classic prices). Their restaurant is really tasty and cheap.

The bungalow starts to be a bit old and a small renovation would be nice (ex : no hot water).

Amazing place set in a quiet part of khao sok. The family are so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is lovely and cheap too. We did the full day lake tour which we booked through them. Had an amazing day. Thankyou

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Einfache Hütten, in ruhiger Lage außerhalb des Ortskernes. Die Familie kümmert sich liebevoll um die Gäste.

Leider nur kaltes Wasser beim Duschen. Dafür sehr nah an der Natur.

Le bungalow est spacieux, bien équipé, le lit est grand et confortable La petite terrasse est très agréable. Le cadre est super au pied de la montagne. La gentillesse du personnel et leur petite fille qui est un sacré phénomène. La gérante m'a amené tôt le matin à l'arrêt de bus et m'a gentiment aidé lorsque j'ai oublié un sac lors de mon départ. Le point fort aussi est que la navette jusqu'au centre est gratuite ce qui permet d'être au calme tout en ayant le village accessible

L'organisation de mon transfert pour Koh phanghan : erreur sur le prix annoncé et la durée du trajet ( 3h30 de + que la durée annoncée). Je vous conseille de passer par le site 12go

The staff were so friendly, so helpful and so so welcoming! The bungalow was super cute and the food there tasted delicious. The animals were super cute too.

The showers were cold (either we couldn’t work out how to make it warm or there just isn’t a warm setting). But that just meant quick dips, no harm done.

Das Personal kümmert sich rührend um die Gäste. Man wird jederzeit gefahren oder abgeholt. Es gibt Tipps für Ausflüge.

Hier zu schlafen war wirklich eine Erfahrung wert. Nachts kann man dem Geschehen um einem herum lauschen, was wirklich spannend ist. Für uns war die Outdoordusche gar kein Problem, so wirklich Outdoor ist sie auch gar nicht. Hier und da krabbelt mal etwas, aber wenn man so nah in der Natur schläft, hat man damit wahrscheinlich sowieso kein Problem. Die Familie ist wirklich super lieb ind hilft einem bei allem. Sie organisieren Ausflüge für einen und fahren einen mehrmals täglich auch ins Zentrum und wieder zurück.

The bungalows are situated at the foot of beautiful, lush mountains - also near to a lovely river. The staff are so lovely and accommodating, they offer daily free shuttles into the town centre as it is quite far away. Bungalows have nice balconies. There is a restaurant on site.

The bungalows’ bathrooms are EXTREMELY basic. They are open air so lots of leaves end up falling into the bathroom and it gets a bit dirty and filled with bugs. This was all part of the jungle experience, though, but something to bear in mind - especially for a longer stay.

Bedden waren vrij hard , wat ver vanaf het dorp maar de familie biedt gratis transport aan in de avond heen en terug .

Khao Sok Green Mountain View is a real jungle experience, you can sleep and enjoy your stay in front of a fantastic mountain view completely surrounded by rain forest. The bungalows are very comfortable with unique no-roof bathroom that allows a nature immersive experience. The staff is very kind and helps you to organize every both the tours and the airport transfer you want..The receptionist speaks a very good english. Breakfast is not include but it is cheap and good...a fantastic place!

Very kind people, family owned. It was raining and they guided us to our room with an umbrella. Bungalow was in the jungle, which is quite an experience! Cute and cheap restaurant.

Not necessarily didn’t like, but there were some insects inside the room as it was a bungalow/hut in the jungle. However, the musquito net provides you a good night rest. Fruits fall onto the roof at night so it was a bit scary at first but if you know where the sound comes from it’s okay, just bring earplugs.

The staff were so lovely and gave us a lift to and from the bus stop. We could also book onto tours in the national park in the reception area and again they made sure we had a lift to get there. The views were amazing, very immersed in the jungle and with nature.

The family are so lovely, and helpful. We were able to book excursions with them. They also give you lifts back and forth so don’t worry if you think it’s a little way out. They are super accommodating.

You need a scooter to get anywhere. the bathroom has no roof so expect bugs and mosquitos.

A superb family run hotel, very close to the main headquarters of Khao Sok National Park from where you can go hiking and explore the incredible park either solo, via limited routes, or more extensively with a guide. The staff are super friendly and accommodating - we had to change our booking which was arranged for us free of charge and we were picked up from Khao Sok bus stop, and on a separate occasion from the centre of town, free of charge as well. The staff helped arrange our tours to Khao Sok National Park as well, and in the evenings, the common area is a great place to get a drink and relax. The rooms were rustic, but comfortable and the outdoor toilet and shower area is a lovely touch that makes you feel fully immersed in the jungle vibe of the setting.

None of the following are the property's responsibility/fault at all, but just something useful to keep in mind when visiting Khao Sok is that the pre-arranged tours are all going to be very large in size and will follow a strict itinerary which cannot be deviated from. For instance, we chose to do a trip to Cheow Lan Lake and a cave hike which was arranged for us as part of a huge group of over 40+ people. The lake, which is definitely worth seeing at sunrise and sunset to get some amazing views, is also aroun 65 km away from the property and because there are no group tours that cater for sunrise/sunset visits, the cost of doing this privately is much higher (we were quoted around 3,000 baht per person as opposed to the 1,750 baht per person cost of the group tour). So, if you're fine with doing pre-arranged tours with large groups that follow a very specific itinerary, staying here or in any other hostel around the Khao Sok headquarters is fine. However, if you want a more personalised experience where perhaps you want to focus on sunrise/sunset tours on the lake for the purposes of photography or even just to experience the incredible atmospheric conditions on the lake at these times of the day, you would be better off booking a property closer to the pier of Cheow Lan Lake (or near Rajjaprabha Dam) and trying to haggle with the smaller boat operators directly. Park entrance timings are from 6am to 6pm FYI, so staying closer to the pier gives you much more flexibility with this. Costlier options also include staying on the floating houses in the lake itself (something that this, and other hostels in Khao Sok can also arrange for you for 2,500 baht per person) but again, you would be better off booking directly with the floating house resorts for a more flexible itinerary and more discounted rates.

the family who runs the place is really nice, the place is in the middle of the jungle so you can really see some animals and enjoy the nature

the place is a bit far from everything else, so you dont have other options but to it in a restaurant there. some nets in partially open bathroom would be good due to the night animals entering the house (spider)
