Locatie is prima. Centrum en op loopafstand.

We kregen een paar dagen van te voren een andere appartment in hetzelfde gebouw. Alleen i.p.v. van 2 badkamers, was dat met eentje. Was voor ons prima. Maar dit appartment was verouderd, slechte bedden, vies etc. En was totaal iets anders dan de foto’s. Verder is het appartment complex, dus maakt niet uit welke kamer je hebt, ronduit vies. Entree ligt bezaaid met post en troep. Er hangt een penetrante lucht en het trappenhuis is hetzelfde verhaal. Heel veel kamers gehad al maar dit was echt slecht.

Smell of cooking throughout the apartment, it was awful There was a dirty mattress on the landing and two mattresses outside the back door the curtains were not fitted right there was on the wrong windows which enable us to shut them properly

super easy to collect keys, and place was super nearby to town centre. really clean and really spacious, and photos are accurate. great water pressure on the showers. being in a busy location the entire flat was sound proof even at evenings and near the O2.

only improvement i would mention would be to include an image of the oven dial instructions in the welcome package, because the markings have rubbed off.

Precis vad vi behövde. Varsitt sovrum nära järnvägsstationerna. Vi sov och åt frukost, resten av tiden var vi på annat håll. Skolbarnen tvärs över gatan väckte oss när de var på rast men när lektionen började blev det tyst. Den trafikerade vägen som man ser från fönsterna brusade dygnet runt men gatan utanför var inte särskilt trafikerad. Jag gillade att vi bodde högst upp med fin utsikt.

Dålig ventilation i badrummet som kunde avhjälpas med att öppna två dörrar dit och vädra hela lägenheten. Fastighetsägaren borde investera i bättre utsugning av fuktig luft för att undvika fuktskador. Jag tror inte att uthyraren kan göra mycket åt saken. Visst svartmögel i kakelfogarna kan åtgärdas för bättre fräschör i badrummet.

Location was great, communication was great, lots of space

It could have been easier if there was a key lock box at the property rather than picking up the key from another location.

The location was good right near the o2 academy, close to the city centre everything was in walking distance, had private parking in a gated car park which was a big plus having a nice car I don’t like to leave it parked on the street. The property was clean. You do have to collect the key from a garage but it’s only round the corner I’d imagine this is due to having a fob to get into the block of apartments. Some peoples negative reviews for the apartment is a bit extreme imo. They do require a holding deposit with your bank so do call you to sort this out, most places do this anyway - they don’t take the money it’s held by the bank and they send proof of receipt that it’s a holding deposit. The host was very informative and helpful and checked in from time to time to see if we needed a later check out etc.

The place does have a funny smell to it but it’s not horrendous. There are a few tiny things that could be done to spruce the place up. It can be noisy outside when trying to sleep but it’s in the centre I think it’s kind of to be expected so if ur expecting quiet country sounds I wouldn’t bother staying so close to the centre at all because you will hear cars bombing up and down throughout the night.

The place is how it looks like in the pictures. Clean and very well maintained place. All the amenities included are really available. Nice smelling sheets. Place is near 02 academy and the Church. There is a lift going to the property as well. Very cosy. There are also paintings that is very pleasing to the eyes(for your eyes only! Do not touch the paintings! 😊) Will definitely book this place again if we come back to Birmingham.
