The location of the hotel is very good. Just opposite to the Brighton beach.

Room size is very small. It is too suffocating specially in summers. I asked the staff to provide a bedsheet, As comforter was too hot to be used. But the staff denied saying that they cannot provide extra bedsheet.

Location. Mike at reception was extremely helpful. Super breakfast. Clean and comfy room.

A bit tired in places. Some grout missing in places on bathroom floor tiles. Some of the brickwork on the outside was crumbling just by window in breakfast room. Could do with a freshen up outside. But these minor things didn’t affect our stay.

A lovely room with very welcoming staff. My room was very clean and had some very thoughtful extras in the room - like sanitary products, flannels, sweets etc. They went above and beyond in terms of thoughtfulness.

The doors to the rooms weren’t very secure and the night that I stayed was very windy, so i was kept up most of the night because of the draft banging the doors.

The property is very well located. Close the beach and town. We like to walk so 10-15 minutes to town was welcome. Less than 5 minutes and you’re in the water.

There was nothing we didn’t like. we had a sunset view of the pier.

May I say that this hotel was chosen for me therefore I have no reason to criticise. It more than met my needs as a single traveller.

The inescapable heat with no fan to move air around. When I shut my curtains to minimise the heat through the windows, during the day the service attendant opened them!

Noise of doors. The doors to the next/across rooms are very close and the noise of door shutting was very loud.

The hotel was centrally located, restaurants and bars were within walking distance and Brighton Pier is only a short walk. Our room was spotlessly clean, we stayed in a sea view room and although the hotel is an older building, the room had been modernised. The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing! All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back-Highly recommend 😊

Everything had a lovely room on the West Side of the building, which gave us a lovely view of the channel and the pier. Lovely four poster bed ,fantastic showers,and the hotel lays on razorblades,products for women such as make-up removers, and other women products. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Have to leave key when you go out. This is no issue as there is a 24-hour concierge. Lovely little bar in the hotel and the food they serve is very well priced and worth the money. All in all, it's a good place to go.

The staff were lovely! Especially the Irish gentlemen who was working the night shift, he made us very welcome and overall made our stay a night to remember.. great place and lovely people!

No issues

Great location, staff super friendly and welcoming. Great value for Brighton and in a location quiet enough to sleep well whilst being 10 mins tops away from restaurants and amenities. We will come back when we visit Brighton again in coming months.

Was just a little hard to keep the bathroom dry as the shower screen was a little too open.
