The house was beautifulband clean with everything we needed, we woke up every morning feeling fantastic as it has one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on! The decor is pleasantly reminiscent of an earlier time. The balcony had lovely views of kaikoura and the ocean. The bbq area was great for relaxing. Would highly recommended. We had a great time

it was unfortunate that the gas fire wasnt going and it took a few days to sort that out, but it wasnt a big issue.

Wonderful cottage with amazing views of Kaikoura. Everything was perfect and we wanted for nothing. Fire was a delight and bed was super comfy. Perfect place to come home to after experiences all that Kaikoura has to offer. Just sad to leave.

This was an absolute gem; a charming whitewashed cottage, with rustic decor reminiscent of Ireland/Scotland and the use of internal wood beams. Located at the base of the ranges with a view across the plain to the sea. You are in the countryside but only a 5 minute drive back into Kaikoura. The cottage is large open plan with the bedroom upstairs on the mezzanine. Big gas fireplace. Large well equipped kitchen. Lots of outdoor areas to sit, with glass doors opening out and a BBQ. A friendly and accomodating host. Very clean and comfortable. Great value. Will definitely be back.

The cottage is an absolute delight and it is quite beautiful - lovely stonework throughout and very careful use of both wrought iron and timber features. The place it huge with a large living area downstairs, a really special bedroom upstairs, and plenty of outdoor patios, and spaces for relaxing. The view down to Kaikoura and the sea is expansive and particularly lovely at night. A delightful forest walk starts next door and gives you the chance to see NZ native trees in their splendor.

Privacy, quiet and views along with quality and comfort made Sky Harbour just the perfect weekend escape. I only have to think about it and be transported into the peace. The bonus is the walk into the forest behind the property, impossible not to be swept away by the pristine environment. It's an easy drive into Kaikoura, but if you don't want to, you have everything you need. Craig is a fabulous host, he made the effort to come and see us but didn't intrude on our space.
