We really love the interior of the house and all the amenities. The host, Richard, is also very responsive.

We enjoyed being there so much we asked if we could extend our stay. Sadly, they were booked so we were unable to. However, due to how much we enjoyed our time there, we are hoping to come back next year and stay again. The cottage is so comfortable that we cancelled our dinner reservations and grabbed food at the local grocery and ate in both nights. With the ocean on one side, mtns on the other, why would you want to be anywhere else? Extremely well equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful setting all rolled up in one. Thank you for all the special touches included in your cottage. Our favorite place in NZ so far.

the space is surprisingly big! you can own two yards one towards the ocean one towards mountain and a farm. we witness the galaxy and the sunrise on the bed. such a wonderful experience!

Absolutely stunning location with snow capped mountains at the rear and ocean at the front. The little cottage was perfect… gas fireplace, comfy bed, luxurious bathroom, small but very functional kitchen (with washing machine and dryer).

The unit was an individual house located on a good sized parcel of land with great views of the ocean on one side and mountains on there other. The interior space was gorgeous, modern, well designed and it maximized the views, we would have stayed her longer if we could. This is a place to just relax and find peace.
The nearby town Kaikoura is a little small and has somewhat limited things to do. However there were good restaurants and the area is lovely.
