The property was nice and modern inside with a lovely seaside theme. There was a good size kitchen and the beds were comfortable. The location was excellent close to a lovely sandy beach and within walking distance of the town, it was also very peaceful and you can park your car directly outside. There is also a great coastal path bordering the site.

It was very clean, well situated! We could even hear the lion roaring down the road which was lovely. The kitchen was kitted out with everything you could need, we cooked from there most days we were there, which saved us a lot of money! It was so quiet and peaceful, very hidden away and felt nice and safe. The wall heaters heated up super fast and kept the rooms nice and cosy. The hosts had left us fresh milk and coffee/tea facilities, however neither of us drink milk, but it was a lovely touch! There was also £6 already in the metre for electric which was perfect for our stay.
Sadly we did have some issues with the smoke alarms, but the host rang us back and sorted it straight away, he was super polite and helpful and completely apologetic for the issue. The water pressure was a little slow but the temp was great and bathroom facilities were perfect otherwise.

Everything was perfect, lovely little Chalet, extremely homely and had everything you needed, perfect location, close to the beach, nice and quiet, great contact throughout, would deff visit again, I really can't recommend this chalet enough.
Although we had a great week it wasn't quite ideal with an extra large dog, especially as we managed to get stuck in a freak storm for two days which was so bad they cancelled all the ferries after ours for 48hours, so was very difficult trying to stay clean and dry after being outside and even taking the dog for a toilet break was a mission as the entire holiday park was flooded. You cant control the weather and we were just extremely unlucky. If the weather had even been a bit better it would of been a completely different story however none of this is a reflection on Chalet Driftwood or the owners and we would of had this issue where ever we had stayed and obviously despite the weather we wanted to make the most of our time and see the island.

Great accommodation and amenities all you could wish for. It was very much appreciated that they took the time to thank us for leaving the chalet clean and tidy.

We loved Chalet Driftwood, it was so comfortable and cosy. We had absolutely everything we needed, lovely little touches, the place is light and airy, great shower, comfy bed. Our dog loved it too. The owners are lovely & very accommodating, great communication throughout.

Lovely chalet, immaculately clean with a very well equipped kitchen. There was tea, coffee, milk and water already in the property when we arrived. The chalet is very tastefully furnished and decorated. The WiFi was reliable and we had no issues having video calls for work. The chalet is located in a lovely part of the IOW with easy access to lovely beaches and stunning viewpoints. Very short walk to Sandown beach. We loved our stay there and will definitely be back to this chalet in particular! Our hosts were amazing, kind and attentive with prompt communication throughout the booking process. Would definitely recommend to couples or families for a peaceful and homely get away in IOW.

Lovely cozy and clean chalet. We arrived late so it was a pleasant surprise to have fresh milk in the fridge to make a cup of tea, some biscuits and 4 bottles of water. Beds were comfy. Good hot shower. Shower towels provided. Home from home, everything needed was to hand and we loved the beach theme decor. Location was good, about a 10 minute walk down to the beach at Yaverland and 20 mins into Sandown so we could leave the car. Parked right outside chalet. Nice decking area out front. Reasonably priced stay especially in the summer holidays. We would happily recommend a stay here.
There is an electric meter, we did put a couple of pounds in which didn't register, I'm not sure why but not really an issue just make sure you have some pound coins with you.

Chalet was almost a home from home. Clean, comfortable and pretty much everything had been thought of. Decking outside was lovely on an evening. Short walk to the beach. Chalet stayed cool when the weather was hot but there was a fan available also. Some food deliveries available to the chalet if you didnt feel like cooking but all the utensils etc. needed if you wanted to. Brilliant guide made by the owners full of useful info.
No complaints at all but if you are a light sleeper, sound does travel between chalets and birds enjoy a tap dance on the roof at the break of day, so maybe take some earplugs!

We loved everything about this chalet, we stayed here before back in 2017, so glad to come back. We would definitely come back next time.. love how its been redecorated since the last time we stayed.. it was just prefect.. 😊

We found the whole process from booking to vacating the property really simple. The chalet itself was fantastic with no expense spared. Every single detail had been taken care of. The cleanliness, decor, facilities were excellent. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely chalet in a perfect location.

The accommodation was absolutely fantastic, extremely comfortable and super neat and clean. The hosts had provided all essentials, tea/coffee etc including a lovely bottle of Prosecco, what a great surprise.

Keys were kept in a lockbox outside the property and June messaged us with the code the morning we were due to travel. Everything was as expected and more, the property was stocked up with everything, tea, coffee, milk , cleaning products, toilet paper and four bottles of water, WiFi was excellent, really fast.
Only downside was a decent sweeping brush, as we had our dog, I like to hoover daily, but the little sweeping brush seemed to take forever, but that is just a minor concern, everything else was perfect.

The only thing we had a problem with was that we found the bed a bit “bouncey “ and we kept on waking each other up , but this could be just us everything else was great

The Host were amazing! The Information guide provided by the host was brilliant, it helped me to plan activities with the children. The island is beautiful..everything you need is within close proximity. Great job! Would definitely come back again.

Amazing chalet perfect for a family stay to explore the Isle of Wight. The hosts have made sure Chalet Driftwood is comfortable and welcoming, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Communication with the hosts was great too.

Chalet Driftwood was exceptionally clean and extremely well kitted out. The decor was very pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome. We knew what to expect having stayed in a similar chalet at the same location last year but this chalet was definitely nicer and touches like hand wash and towels were very much appreciated. Top class chalet!

The chalet is immaculate and ideally located, not only for Yaverland Beach but for exploring the entire island.
The owners are extremely considerate, knowledgeable and friendly.
We've booked to come back next year which I hope shows what a fantastic time we had.
Going home was difficult.

Fabulous property, hosts were excellent, welcoming and friendly, we even had cake. I was astonished at the linen and towel change half way through our stay. We will definitely return. The property had everything we needed, next time we won't have to bring lots of what we had brought ourselves. A big thankyou to the hosts.

The owners have put a lot of thought into this chalet and absolutely everything that you need has been provided! The decor and all the furnishings are beautiful. The chalet is in a great location with Sandown beach and Culver Downs only a walk away (if you like walking! Otherwise only a short drive!) We took our puppy and had a wonderful holiday. The cost for our stay was very reasonable and we are very glad we booked it! If you’re considering it, you should too!!!

Very relaxing few days at Chalet Driftwood, the accommodation is immaculate and tastefully decorated. It is compact but very comfortable and the decking area was perfect to enjoy the sun - our dog loved it! Great location, 2 minutes walk to the beach which was stunning and a 20 minute walk to the lovely pub up the hill. Easy access to Sandown. The holiday park is very quiet which is just what we wanted and a great base to enjoy the Isle of Wight.

The property was exceptionally clean and decorated to a very high standard, so many little touches added to our short stay.
Absolutely nothing - however we were unable to park outside of the property during our stay. This is something the owners will have no control over, so it would not affect how we rate our stay at all.
