The shower- extremely good pressure and clean. The mattresses are good quality memory foam. the extra towels, ample cutlery and kitchen items. Smart use of space. Location is amazing. Completely perfect for what we needed in the low season in Tarifa. Very well suited for 2 friends travelling needing a compact space with 2 beds.

Location, if you are disturbed by sound, could be an issue in the high season. We stayed low season so it was totally fine for us. The toilet had a slightly damp smell inside. Some light entered the flat during the morning through 2 small windows in the door. If you are sensitive to this, bring a eye mask. The shower situation was fine for us but may be more difficult for 3 +people.

Está en una planta baja y si abres las ventanas la gente de la calle te ve. Un poco pequeño para ir 5 personas.

Very smart and functional design, good location

I did not have an issue per se with the size, the lay-out, the lack of basics such as knives, the pots and pans that were falling apart, the flimsy, stained pillows, the sink being next to the bed or even the fact that the place was musty and freezing cold. Considering the affordable price and what looked like a cute design online, I could deal with the imperfections. What I did have an issue with however, is the way I was treated like a demanding diva for asking nicely if it be possible to get an extra blanket or a little heater. I was told that "it wasn't possible that the room was too cold and that I would have to wait till next day". It was so cold, I didn't sleep all night. After they tried to shut me down, I still dared to ask if it be possible to cover the small windows above the entrance door as I couldn't sleep with the street lights beaming in. This turned once again into "not possible, no one ever complained about this before", to which - and after insisting - they brought a roll of masking tape the next day for me to secure pillow cases and towels onto the windows myself. Their tactic is to be rude and condescending so you feel too embarrassed to ask for even the basics. I thought that part of tourism is to welcome your guests and make sure they feel appreciated. At Esquina Azul, you are, a business / a number - "check in, provide a copy of your ID and do not bug us again". They were so rude and condescending, I checked out earlier and made sure not to book in another one of the host's many reconverted (white,/beige) apartments she has all over Tarifa. I am so thankful to booking.com for having gone out of their way to get half of my stay refunded. This was a horrible experience - I should have read the reviews better.

The location is great, right in the middle of city center.

For the bedroom there is only one source of heat, which was not working and the AC put in the living room wasn't enough for the entire space.

Perfect location and very nice design of this tiny apartment!
