Bienvenue au paradis! Cette maison de luxe climatisée avec piscine privée sur la plage est à quelques pas des meilleures vagues du Costa Rica.
Notre maison spacieuse dispose de trois chambres (deux chambres ont un lit double et un lit queen dans chacune, et la suite principale a un lit king) ainsi que deux salles de bain complètes.
Plusieurs restaurants et bars se promènent pieds nus dans le sable fin au nord. En chemin, vous penserez être sur votre propre plage privée, avec quelques surfeurs dispersés dans les vagues. Les couchers de soleil sont à couper le souffle!

Spent a week in July 2024 with my wife and two teenage kids.
The house is beautiful. The location is great (you cross the street and you are on the beach).
Jeff, the co-host was extremely helpful in recommending things to do.
Overall, great experience.

Property exactly as described. Location is ideal for surfers who want to get away from the main peak and enjoy the same waves with fewer in the water.

This was our first time to Costa Rica and WOW, what an experience!!
We were well informed on how to get to the property from San Jose, so we had no issues driving. The house itself is stunning and has every amenity you could want. Spacious, clean as a whistle, AC when you need it, perfect size pool, and breathtaking views from the balcony. The property manager was incredibly communicative and helpful, and had fantastic recommendations on things to do, places to eat, and even found someone local to fix my phone!
When we weren't relaxing in the pool or having fun in the waves, we were riding horses on the beach, taking waterfall tours, shopping, and eating the most delicious food. There is no doubt we will be back!

We had wonderful time at Casa Barracuda. The house and location were incredible. Right on the beach with beautiful sunsets and very short walk on beach to restaurants.

What a beautiful property! Right across from the black sandy beach. Amazing view and sunset.
Our host Jeff, had the fridge full of food and drinks upon our arrival. Jeff helped us plan our activities and transportation to the airport.
Our family/ friend had such a relaxing stay.
The only thing I would recommend is that the property provided shampoo and conditioner, one less thing I would have to pack.

Casa Barracuda is amazing!!! Loved the house, the pool, the wildlife and the beach. Jeff the PM was super responsible and helpful for our entire trip. Highly recommend, we'll be back next year, if not sooner!

There were seven adult family members, including four surfers that had the best break right outside the door! We could watch them surf from the second floor deck! The sunsets, OMG, they were phenomenal! Macaws roosted in the tree next door as well as the tree in the front of the house! We enjoyed a cat that obviously has adopted this house! Iguanas lounged by the pool with us. The house was clean, it had everything that we needed. A/C was perfect and appreciated because it is hot outside! The owner was responsive within five minutes of any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend this place. Safe, beautiful, and well maintained. I miss Costa Rica already.

The house has all the amenities required for a great stay. Add in the pounding of the surf to soothe your soul, the amazing sunsets, scores of Machaw parrots feeding in the almond trees on the beach edge and a large docile iguana keeping us company pool side all contributed to a memorable stay.

We stayed at Casa Barracuda for 2 nights while visiting the Playa Hermosa area. The positives include:
1) The location across from the beach is perfect!
2) The property grounds are beautiful & safe. The patio area is amazing and would be a wonderful area for a larger group to kick back in the evening.
3) The kitchen was well equipped & living areas comfortable.
4) Overall the bedrooms were very comfortable but the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms did not work well so it never really cooled down.
The reasons we did not give perfect ratings:
1) We did not have hot water in the master bathroom so we needed to share the second bathroom for showers ( a minor inconvenience since we were traveling with close friends)
2) We were given the wrong security code for the property & were not informed that the property manager we’d been communicating with & was to meet at the property at 4:00 was no longer managing this property for over a week. The new manager arrived about 30 minutes later to check us in, give us the correct codes, etc.

We stayed here almost a month-
Very niiice. Any major concerns we had- were taken care of right away which we greatly appreciated. We recommend staying here.
The pictures and descriptions are spot on.
We would recommend updating the refrigerator, dishes and pots n pans...but everything is functional
The dishwasher definitely needs to be replaced-if sounds like a freight train because the deal is too loose.
But it functions just fine...
Good air conditioning and washer and dryer!!!
Maintenance people were very friendly and helpful.
We would stay here again if in the area!

The property is very nice and comfortable. Instead of exchanging gifts we choose to spend the holiday together in Costa Rica and the Casa Barracuda was an excellent choice. The host was very responsive which helped a great deal.

The place had a great vibe right across from the beach. Even better for surfing but great for anyone. The staff was friendly and helped us with our needs, like booking activeties. Thinking we'll be back next year.

House and property exactly like pictured. House very clean , yard and pool fabulous! Walking distance to beach , right across the street and your feet are in sand. Black sand beach , big waves for surfing, not really a swimming beach . Their are many beaches close by for swimming . We enjoyed playa mantas, and of course the beach at Manuel Antonio. We took surf lessons from Jaco Surf school, they were wonderful and very reasonably priced . We also enjoyed the El Miro Ruins( it’s free except for parking ) , the Tarcoles bridge and exploring nearby beaches . A car is nice to have. We enjoyed Vida Hermosa restaurant near the house and and El Chicano Mexican food downtown Jaco. The property manager Askel was wonderful, she was very quick to respond if we needed anything and to answer questions, thank you Askel! We did have two nights of short power outages that Askel remedied asap, we were glad we had brought flashlights. Otherwise a wonderful stay, highly recommend!

We had an amazing week. The house was exactly as listed but even cleaner than I expected. The pool was clean and my kids loved it. We couldn’t have found a better house. The beach had a crazy undertow so we couldn’t swim but the property manager, Askel, gave us a recommendation for a nearby beach that was incredible! Check in and out were a breeze. There were a bunch of restaurants within walking distance but bring a flashlight for the walk home. No lights on the private way. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Costa Rica.

Extremely well kept, pool cleaned daily. I counted 15 steps from gate and my feet are in the sand. Close to town of Jaco.

We had a great time at this house the pool was so refreshing after a long hot day out exploring it was very clean and the kitchen was real nice and had everything you need also, having a washer and dryer in the house was great!

We took a multigenerational trip for Spring Break the on property pool and the super quick walk to the beach was great!! There are restaurants close enough to walk and location is great for close proximity to national parks.

Beautiful home! The inside was clean and spacious. Everything was exactly as described. The pool was perfect, balcony overlooking the yard and across the street to the ocean. A short 10-15 minute drive to downtown Jaco, located in a quiet neighborhood with beach access. We loved every minute of our stay here! We were a family of six staying here - two boys under 6 years, parents, and grandparents. Highly recommend!

Overall we enjoyed the home. Any issues were quickly resolved and the location is close to Jaco, but very quite and relaxed.

Too close to the beach
We loved everything about this property, but a little too close to the beach. We got nervous at high tide. Temporary flooding outdoors ruined the pool and blocked access to the car. We left a day early. It was too bad, because I could have seen myself staying at this great house forever!

Beautiful house in a quiet and great location, Lots of wildlife around, the Greeter, Security Guard, Pool Guy and Gardener where all great as well. would definitely recommend.

A Surfer's Dream
This house boasts spacious living inside and out. Just steps from the shore and short travel to new adventures. The house is situated on a quiet road allowing the sounds of local birds to replace the rumble of traffic. You will be surrounded by lush greenery, ocean breezes and a few local animals! We found the home supper clean and well managed. Askel was very helpful in recommending local shopping, dining and entertainment.

Great Beach House with Surf out front
Beautiful property in Hermosa. The house has a great outdoor living space situated around a pool and it is just a few steps across the road to the beach. The house is well-maintained and clean. There's multiple surf breaks right across the street and within walking distance and it's only a 10-minute drive or less to the main breaks in Hermosa and the restaurants on the beach.

Unexpected Dream Vacation
I couldn't have pictured a more perfect swing for my first time to CR. The house was big, clean and beautiful. Every morning woke up to birds and iguanas. The pool was warm just like the nearby ocean. I would definitely return. Thank you Askiel for the accommodations!

Casa Barracuda
We spent a wonderful week at this property and were very sad to leave. It is in a great location with convenient access to Jaco but with plenty of privacy and a quiet beach. The property manager and staff were very helpful. This was our first visit to Costa Rica. We fell in love with the people there and will be back soon. This is a great property that exceeded our expectations. The sunsets are amazing.

Location Location!
We booked this home last minute after our flights were cancelled back to the US. The owner was quick to respond to us even though is was only the night before. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. It was so nice to have a dishwasher and AC throughout. The pool was a great place to spend in afternoons when it got too hot outside. Right down the street are several restaraunts that you can walk to. Uber rides to Jaco are easy and inexpensive. The owner has a property manager names Aleska, who is absolutely amazing. She stopped by to check on us and was quick to respond when we needed help with the door. There are two Macaws that live in a tree that were fun to watch every day. Would definetly stay here again.
