First the hotel staff was very helpful in giving alot of information.. their breakfast was also good.. the location was very near to the market.. the rooms were cleaned every day...the environment was cozy and welcoming.

Super friendly and helpful staff! It was in a pretty decent location too. Room was spacious. Really liked the massage place down the road too (Zen Massage). We also rented a bike for really affordable rates.

Cleanliness was a thing. There was a used towel in the wardrobe when we checked in.

Pleasant hotel, location central and easy access to town. Breakfast simple with fresh eggs cooked to order. All in all for a 2 night stay price was good.

Unfortunately our interior room had a damp smell. There was only a small interior window onto the indoor corridor which was really annoying as the lights in corridor remained on all night and no curtain to block out the light. No outdoor space to sit.

A 10 min walk to the Main Street and 15 to the night markets by the lake

No air conditioning - so be careful in summer! We were here early February and temps were 27 degrees and dry heat - just beautiful

Le manque de matériel dans l’appartement, il était indiqué micro ondes plaque de cuisson, il n’y a qu’une fenêtre dans une chambre, même si nous ne passons pas beaucoup de temps dans l’appartement un peu plus de clarté aurait été la bienvenue, ce n’est pas dramatique mais aurait pu être signalé dans le descriptif

Clean, close to city center and nice staff. Breakfast was okay-ish but nothing to write home about. On the last day they helped with booking of a bus. Important - no aircon on the room.

We had 2 rooms. One of which didnt have a window for fresh air and really should not be rented out. It did however have a small annoying window to the hall with its lights. After a night we asked for a different room, which they handled nicely.

Het personeel was vriendelijk. De kamer was schoon, het bed lag lekker en de douche was heerlijk. Locatie is goed!

Ontbijt was matig, wij hebben na de eerste keer geen gebruik meer gemaakt van het ontbijt. De kamers waren rumoerig, je kon andere hotelgasten, straatgeluiden en de verbouwing naast het hotel goed horen. Geen airco, het raam kon in de avond echter niet op door rookoverlast uit de omgeving.

위치가 놀거리와 가까웠고 맛있는 커피집 근처라서 참 좋았어요. 발코니도 있고 객실도 상당히 넓었습니다.

Moonstone is situated in a quiet location which is a 5 minutes walk away from the city center/lake/restuarants. The staff was courteous and the receptionists Ngan and Nhan were helpful in addressing all queries.

The location is close to the night market and central lake, but far enough away to not be in the bustle.

There was a building under construction next door and it was noisy and dusty. After a long day we arrived the “VIP” one-bedroom that was supposed to be nice and have an extra bed in the living room was on the lobby floor with a sliding door that opened to the parking lot, where people were smoking and being noisy. To boot, the bedroom had no windows and there were no fans or air conditioners to manage the stuffiness. We inquired about another option and the front desk clerk, a young man, begrudgingly offered a cramped and very dirty room one floor up with two king beds. We agreed to change because we were tired but in the morning asked for a price adjustment for the huge difference in room quality, being willing to suffer through for one more night, knowing we would only be sleeping in the room as we explored the area. Another, kinder, young female desk clerk said she didn’t have the authority to refund us called the owner to try to get permission and was denied. With that we had noted that other, better looking but still less costly, rooms were available online that night so we asked to be moved and she agreed. We also asked for a complimentary later checkout the following day (one hour past normal checkout) and she relented. When we went to check out the next day the same young man attempted to charge us 30% of the nightly rate for our “late” departure. He called the owner, who also wanted to charge, and insisted until we explained that the other clerk had allowed it and he followed up and called her. Overall our absolute worst experience with hospitality in two weeks of wonderful experiences in Vietnam. I would definitely not return and would never recommend staying here. Also, the breakfast buffet was mediocre at best.

Great location. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and decor was more modern than some of the other places we’ve stayed in Vietnam.

There wasn’t a lot of variety at breakfast (and the dishes that were available didn’t look particularly appealing), most of the items were cold or lukewarm and breakfast was often late (advertised as opening at 7am but on 2 of our 3 nights the breakfast was still being setup at 7:15 which made it tight to get ready for the start of our tour). Unfortunately reception couldn’t get the safe to unlock when we arrived (previous guest must have left it closed), which we would have used if it was available. The shower casing had gaps in it which made the bathroom flood whenever we had a shower so it was more like a wet room than a shower. There was also damp/mould on the curtains as there must have not been good air circulation in the room (there was condensation in the windows overnight) which meant there was often a musky smell in the room. All sounds quite negative but the room was nice and did the job for our short stay in Dalat, so nothing major. Suggest travellers choose an option where breakfast isn’t included as you’ll find better options outside of the hotel.

Plumbing in both bathrooms were poor and the showers would flood every time. Layout of the bathroom fixtures were inconvenient - there was no where to put the shampoo & conditioner in the shower so they put it on the basin which meant you had to open the shower door to reach for the shampoo and conditioner which then let water out of the shower. The door of the shower opened inwards instead of outwards so was a bit awkward. Also there is no aircon but lucky it wasn’t hot when we were there.

The shower was very good. The room is very big. The location is convenient.

The room is cold and damp as in the basement. It only receives some natural light. There was mould from damp on the wall in one room and a bathroom. The TV wasnt great as it couldn't cast to watch netflix. No Aircon so no way to warm it up or get rid of the damp. Also there is wires and brackets for tvs in the bedrooms but no tv and also the fridge is only in one bedroom. While I'm sure other rooms might be nice this one is not.

Location is quite good, not far from the markets. Beds were big and comfortable. A number of good restaurants are close by. Staff were efficient. There is a good massage shop not far from the hotel.

Only had breakfast at the hotel once. Partner had noodle soup, I had cereal. Thought it was a bit basic for the price so we often went to a restaurant located close by. A new building is being constructed next door so it can get a bit noisy. We had issues with water drainage in the shower, took a couple of attempts but was eventually fixed.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very spacious. It's nearby restaurants and near the lake and the crazy house.

There was a strong scent in the room, after it got cleaned. I guess some kind of room mist. Even though it smelled good, it was a litte to much for my personal preference.

It is just too bad that the cleaning is not hotel standard. The bedsheets were very wrinkled. I didn’t know whether it wasn’t changed from the previous guest or wasn’t ironed. I hope it was just not ironed. The cleaning staff should also learn how to make beds.
