L’emplacement est idéal
L’eau n’est pas potable au robinet, il devrait installer des bonbonnes d’eau pour leurs clients

Rooms were clean and simple. Property manager was very helpful storing our luggage where we felt it was safe while we were snorkeling waiting for the ferry.
Location was incredibly noisy. May have gotten a bit unlucky with room right next to busy main street, but it was incredibly loud trying to get to sleep. If you are going to be out all night having fun, this is the perfect location for you right in the heart of everything. If you are planning to try to go to sleep between 10p-12a you may want to look elsewhere. Pillows were not good.

Quarto espaçoso , bom ar condicionado , cama confortável, localização próxima dos restaurantes e centro ,boa limpeza .
Chuveiro gelado , péssimo atendimento , recepção nunca tem ninguém, barulho infernal devido a localização central. Custo elevado para o que oferece .

Central location, few minutes from the harbour, multiple Tour agencies restaurants shops etc nearby. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, hot water
Major issue : I was there during low season and the owners / reception staff simply left the hotel for the weekend and locked the gate behind them without providing me with a key / code to enter. They also did not answer the phone listed on booking or respond to dms. I pretty much had to break into the property or I would have had sleep outside.
Minor annoyances : very poor wifi, my room faced the main road and very loud all night.

Very clean (even changed the towels every day), rooms as advertised, friendly staff, central location close to the port and Charles Binford street with the selection of great local eateries
All good. I read in other reviews problems with wifi which we didn’t experience. And by all means, one doesn’t go to Puerto Ayora to spend time on the internet …

We booked this very last minute after a ferry cancellation and were so impressed with the value for money (although we probably got a good deal as it was so last minute). Our room was huge and the views from the terrace on the top floor are lovely. We were a little worried about noise as the hostal is on Avenida Baltra (main street) but luckily our room faced the back and there were no issues with noise at all.
We had no hot water - not sure if this was across the whole hostal or just a one off in our room

Location
No drinking water, no hot water for one day, no shampoo and shower gel. Terrible WiFi. No staff in reception in morning check out

Right in the center of Puerto Ayora and very close to the docks. Quick and easy walk. The beds were comfortable.
When we went in, there were about a dozen flies. The woman in reception gave us Raid to kill them. The room could also use a touch up - stains on the towels and linens and the walls were very scuffed and stained. There was water to drink up on the roof, but it was very hot.

I rented the double bed honeymoon suite for our honeymoon and when we got there they said I had to be charged $20 more than the price and receipt I was given from booking through booking.com. I even showed the receipt but I was forced to pay more anyway. Then when we got to our room it wasn’t even close to the room I booked. it was a third of the size and looked like garbage compared to what I paid for and rented through booking.com. again I showed the online receipt confirming we were supposed
to be in a far better room and we were told it was already booked by someone else and pretended not to know why we didn’t get the room I booked. by the way, when I had to pay an extra $20, the woman/manager put the money on her purse. what a disaster. nice to have done to you in your honeymoon. I will never use booking.com again!

The room seemed freshly renovated, everything was clean, AC worked fine and the room was very spacious.
There was free drinking water and the price-value ratio seems great for Galapagos.
Community kitchen would be nice, but just as an add on for future improvement.

very good location. they stored my luggage whilst I went to the different islands
I stayed in 2 rooms. in both, the curtains did not block any sunlight. there was no hot water before 6:30am. wifi was slow, but this is the same everywhere in the Galapagos. In the first room I stayed in, the air conditioning was aimed at the pillows, which made it difficult to sleep

Amazing location! Just around the corner from restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the main strip.
All good. If I had to say something, the water cooler dispensed super slow.

I loved the location. Walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. There's also tons of tourist agencies everywhere so you don't have to plan ahead for day trips. I took the bus from the airport (bus to ferry to bus-lol) and it was maybe a 7 minute walk to the hotel. It was also easy to take the bus back to the airport. The bus pickup is at the Pier. Just make sure you know the bus schedule, which the hostel was able to provide me!
The internet was not good during the daytime. In the evening it was more stable. I also noticed there was an internet shop, but I didn't see it until the end of my trip. Something to consider if you're planning to do work while you're here.

Exceptional location in Baltra Av. ( Main Street in Ayora) near to the dock, tours and dive operators, caffès and street restaurants. Staff is friendly . Rooms and beds are huge and very clean. Buses to the airport only one block away. Many taxis too. Hope to come back
Wifi quality should be improved

Very friendly and helpful staff, well located in the city center, big bed and very big room.
Towels always seem to be dirty and I'm bad condition.

This was a simple place, our family of 6 stayed in a room with 4 beds. It was close to the center of town, which I liked. The air conditioning worked great, and it was perfect for what we needed. It was quiet for sleeping.
Breakfast wasn't included, but that we expected. It didn't have a pool, but that was also expected. No elevator, but I wasn't expecting one.

The hostal is located in the center - good location. The room was big with 2 big beds
1There are no lamps near the beds, 2 you could hear everything in the other room, 3 and most of the time there wasn't anybody at the office (reception). 4 The doors are not marked good and it took time to find them

Room was huge and clean, really nice staff, great location close to the pier and on one of the major streets. Room was just as nice as other places I stayed in Puerto Ayora, and about 1/3 the price.
They're not on Google Maps but their location is correct on Booking.
Wifi wasn't great but about average for the Galapagos.
No breakfast (that I was aware of) and no lounge / common area - you basically walk off the street and there's just a staircase to the rooms upstairs. Not a problem if you just want a place to stay but you don't get the communal hostel atmosphere, if that's something you're looking for.

Good location close to boats and ferries, restaurants, etc. Great staff, which tried to fulfil all of our requests.

It was in a fantastic location very close to Calle de Los kiosks and a short walk to the ferry. Excellent staff that were very helpful with any needs or questions.
The wifi was spotty at best.

Great location, close to the port. The room was big and comfortable.

The location was great. We did not have breakfast as we left the hotel early in the morning to catch the ferry to another island. I liked that it was close to the ferry and main part of town.
I would have liked a room with a view, but in this location there was no view.

Spacious room with a big bed. Everything was clean. Good help from the reception.

Nice size rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers and excellent location...all at a very good price especially considering the location.
Simply no one on duty. Person knew when I was arriving and after getting me my room I never saw anyone again. Toilet was not working properly nor air conditioner (which made sleeping uncomfortable) and with no one on site there was no solutions. This is hotel without front desk. There was no filtered water (had tank but remained empty) which the other 14 hostals included. No common space and none of the community of a hostal. But if you just need a place to sleep the price and location work.

Very clean, and comfortable. Had a water despenser in the hall. easy access. Great location.
