We were welcomed by a lovely friendly and helpful receptionist. The bed was very comfortable. There was secure parking, and the hotel is situated very centrally.
We didn't expect luxury for this very reasonable price. However, this hotel is spartan. There are few concessions to comfort. The shower was very difficult to get in and out of, and the water temperature dangerously erratic. One of the bedside tables (actually a small shelf) sloped downwards so nothing stayed on it. There were no hooks of any kind anywhere. There was no hair drier.

great location, just on the edge of the centre,there is some parking next door , we managed to park on the road outside, the owner was very nice and friendly and spoke very good English

Very good location, close to the train station and close to the center of the town.
The owner was very helpful and nice. the room was big for 3 people. we got a suite with 2 separate rooms.
The price for the room was more than reasonable.
No elevator.

The friendliest welcome from the lovely Icelandic lady Brinja, who literally cannot do enough for her guests, comfortable accommodation and delicious food and wine in the evening.
If you are going to stay in Riom, don’t bother looking anywhere else!

Room was comfortable and newly decorated. Whilst there was handwash, shower gel and, shampoo and conditioning would have been helpful, along with the availability of a hair dryer.
