Welcoming staff, excellent pool area, good location and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Big room for 3 of us and very clean. The Italian restaurant opposite the hotel was probably one of our best meals in Lisbon Friendly and welcome reception staff on arrival and spent time explaining the area, best places to visit.

Nothing to dislike although the open plan bathroom and shower was not ideal for privacy esp when sharing the suite with teenage boys

Staff were exceptional; everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and competent. The room was quite comfortable, and a good size (larger than rooms in many other hotels in the area). This is one reason we chose this hotel because we were staying 6 nights. We have stayed near the Marques de Pombal before, and like the neighborhood. It’s close to the main tourist areas but much less crowded and is right near a metro stop. It’s also partly residential, and benefits from a mix of locals and tourists.

The only problem we encountered was with the design of the shower (it’s long, with glass walls, and there are no grab bars). For able bodied persons there’s no issue. For guests with balance or mobility issues, it’s worth discussing with the hotel to see if it will meet your needs.

The pool was great as was the service in the pool bar. The staff were very attentive and the complementary cocktails were a nice touch along with the sugar straws.

Staff were so friendly! A lot of attention to detail - complimentary drink on arrival and at the pool. Very comfortable stay, would definitely recommend.

Easily one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. Bonus points for the water refill stations in the hallway. Very well located, very clean hotel, very nice staff. Showers were very nice as was the Chromecast setup. The rooms were well insulated from sound. Food at the restaurant was good.

The room service was only available between 11pm and 8am which I thought was a little weird.

Somewhat clean but needs more attention to details. We spent 5 nights in a 5 🌟 hotel in Madrid which did look like a 5 star hotel. This hotel looked more like 4 stars. Breakfast was great. I suggest ordering your omelet, don't eat the scramble eggs. They are very......wattery. All in all, they need more work to really be able to deliver a 5 star service. Lots of deficits.

They need improvements. We found one pillow that had a blood stain. Only the second day was the stained pillow cover replaced. We parked the car using their valet service (we never saw the garage). The car got damaged in their parking lot by another car, while parked Couldn't find who did it despite having CCTV. Room charges were paid at check-in however we had to pay a remaining balance at check-out, that is because the receptionist innitially didn't do the right calculation . I'm a little disappointed for a 5 star rated hotel. It is more like a 4-star city hotel.

Unfriendly staff at the reception. Unclear and misleading communication from different staff members with regards to cost of adding one additional person to the reservation. I reported a couple of things that were not working in the room (e.g. tv remotes) and these were never fixed.
