Comfortable Royal Mile apartment
Un emplacement idéal pour des vacances à Edimbourg. Cet appartement au premier étage est situé sur le Canongate, une partie du célèbre Royal Mile d'Édimbourg, l'artère principale de la vieille ville. Ce n'est pas seulement à 5 minutes à pied de la gare de Waverley et du bus de l'aéroport, mais toutes les principales attractions sont littéralement à votre porte, y compris le château d'Édimbourg, le palais de Holyrood, St. Giles Catedral, Princes Street et Calton Hill qui sont à quelques minutes.
Il s'agit d'un incroyable appartement du centre-ville, récemment rénové à un niveau exceptionnel. Situé en plein centre d'Édimbourg, vous ne pourriez pas trouver un meilleur emplacement. Ceci, combiné à l'intérieur charmant, fait des courts séjours idéaux dans cette belle ville.
Situé au premier étage d'un immeuble classé B. Le salon lumineux est complété par une grande fenêtre avec un balcon Juliette donnant sur le Royal Mile animé (Canongate).
Un large éventail de boutiques, bars et restaurants sont littéralement à deux pas de l'appartement.
L'appartement offre un grand salon, avec deux grands canapés 3 places et un fauteuil. Il y a une grande table à manger avec 5 sièges et deux tabourets.
Deux chambres doubles, chacune avec un grand espace de rangement, l'une avec un lit double et l'autre avec deux lits simples pouvant être réunis en un lit double king size. Une chambre donne sur le Royal Mile et l'autre sur le jardin pavé partagé à l'arrière de la propriété avec vue sur Calton Hill et ses monuments.
Pour des couchages flexibles, il y a un canapé-lit double confortable dans le salon.
La cuisine séparée est entièrement équipée avec réfrigérateur / congélateur, four et plaques à induction, lave-linge / sèche-linge, lave-vaisselle micro-ondes, grille-pain et bouilloire. Il a une grande fenêtre avec vue sur Calton Hill et ses monuments.
À côté de la cuisine se trouve un placard utilitaire avec un fer et une planche à repasser et un aspirateur.
Juste à côté de l'entrée se trouve la salle de bain, qui a un sèche-serviettes, une douche au-dessus de la baignoire et une vue sur Calton Hill et ses monuments (avec du verre dépoli au bas de la fenêtre pour plus d'intimité).
La propriété a un sol stratifié, sauf dans les chambres recouvertes de moquette et la salle de bains carrelée, et est décorée dans des tons neutres crème et pierre, qui, avec les grandes fenêtres, confèrent une atmosphère apaisante et rafraîchissante. Avec une capacité de 4 personnes, cet appartement offre une grande retraite pour 2 couples ou parents et leurs petits.

Wonderful location right on the Royal Mile and close to train station/buses. Multiple great restaurants nearby, with several right across the street. Clean, comfortable flat with space for our family to spread out. Beds were lovely and flat was well-outfitted. Duncan was also a great communicator and responded immediately to our questions and also offered some excellent suggestions for our stay. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Edinburgh.

Apartment was exactly as advertised from the listing. Very clean, well-heated, and super convenient to the Royal Mile sites and the train station. Appreciated the umbrellas as Scottish weather is certainly unpredictable. Place felt safe and price was reasonable. Duncan was great at communicating (why we picked this listing as others mentioned him) and check-in and out was easy. Would stay here again if I needed two bedrooms.

We stayed for a week. We could pop down to cafes or the grocer on the corner. Dinner across the street at White Horse Oyster Bar was a favorite. Ten minutes to the trail for Arthur’s Seat. There was some street noise on Friday and Saturday nights, but not terrible.
The apartment is well stocked and comfortable. Good WiFi. We would definitely stay here again.

Duncan’s flat is extremely cozy and in an amazing location. Just a few minute walk from the train station, the royal mile and new town with access to amazing restaurants and pubs. The flat itself comes with everything you might need for a trip!

Wonderful place right in the middle of Old Town. All the shops, pubs and historic places anyone could want close by. Comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We were there for the Fringe and this was our best location yet. Duncan was an excellent communicator and the place was really comfortable, light and bright. As expected, there was some noise Friday and Saturday nights but that’s what Edinburgh and the festival are all about. Loved it.

I have been communicating with Duncan about this trip for 9 months. Wanted to take my daughter and granddaughter to celebrate her high school graduation with something special and memorable. This flat is a great place to stay in Edinburgh, right in the Royal Mile - mid way between the Castle and Holyrood. Despite the austere exterior and entry, the flat is cozy and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and laundry. The main sitting room is great for hanging out and has a place for dining. Duncan (the host) is on top of everything, providing clear instructions and quick answers to any questions.

The location was very convenient to all of the major attractions. The apartment was very comfortable with nice size living room and bedrooms. The bathroom was rather tight with little space to place toiletries and could use some upgrading. If you're driving yourself the arrival may be somewhat stressful. There's no "legal" place to park for unloading and loading except right on the curb of the busy street and the closest parking garage is a couple of blocks away so try to plan ahead for that. The building entry could use some upgrading and cleaning, but get past that and the apartment is comfortable and quiet.

The apartment is in the most perfect location, where everything is in walking distance. Communication with the owner was always prompt and clear. Everything was perfect, the flat is located right in the heart of Edinburgh, the best location for walking to all great places in Edinburgh. Highly recommended. Also the host, the communication, the check in was perfect. Duncan was very courteus, always contactable if needed ( which we didn't ) and a great host. Duncan couldn't have been nicer as a property owner and the location was great. Really close to everything and we could just walk to most places. We had a great time visiting Scotland and Duncan was very helpful whenever I asked him questions. He was prompt and courteous. It was a great experience for me and the rest of my family. Duncan made it easy to be relaxed and have a great experience.

Excellent 10 days.
The location was perfect for our trip. We had several family and friends staying close by and they could meet us at our flat as we were very central. It was quiet but could sit and people watch from our couch. Would love to stay here again.

Birthday treat
The apartment has a great location, near to Waverley station & most major attractions. Plenty of restaurants within a short distance. All of the amenities within the apartment more than met our expectations. The only exception being the washing machine which we were unable to use as the handle/door lock was broken. We would also have liked a window blind in the bathroom . Thanks for a lovely stay.

This flat was perfect for myself and a friend traveling. The pictures are accurate and the owner was warm and very helpful with any questions. I am hoping to use the flat again on my next travels to Edinburgh.
