On a beaucoup aimé "l'Onsen" de l'hôtel -- la piscine (Oû l'on va, comme il se doit, après un lavage personnel complet avant...) était simplement géniale! Très reposante, et tout y était pour faciliter les différentes procédures.

Tout a été très bien! Le sevice de shuttle entre la gare et l'hôtel était super.

The hotel is really nice, specially the staff. Also because is not so close to the main attractions they have a free shuttle service that is very convenient. The breakfast is excellent and the washing machine and dryer were perfect.

I didn't like that I couldn't use the public bath because of my tattoos. I know is getting more accepted and is not the hotel fault. I hope in the future people start to realize is a normal thing have tattoos. But my room have a bath tub so I could enjoy a relaxed bath anyway.

It’s a bit far away from the Takayama city centre but there is shuttle bus every hour between Takayama station and hotel. The service is quite good and I would like to share two experiences in my stay: 1. I took JR to Takayama but the train was expected to arrive at 20.51 which I would have just missed the last shuttle bus scheduled to depart at 20.50. I therefore called the hotel to see if the last shuttle can wait for me. They eventually arranged a private care just for me which surprised me. 2. They have a satellite office opposite to just Takayama station for customer to have luggage storage. My check out day was the off date of satellite office and they arranged shuttle bus to drive my luggage to Takayama station at agreed time. At the end, I didn’t “suffer” much from the far location and enjoyed luggage storage. The fee is much cheaper than those in centre and you can enjoy indoor and outdoor onsen in the hotel!

You need to arrange your time well to catch the shuttle bus as it’s once per hour.

Room was comfortable enough, looks very new. Were only there one night. Breakfast was adequate.

Could take some furniture out of the room to make space for cases, we needed to stack some to be able to walk to bed at all.

The staff is very nice and very helpful with everything! The room was very clean and has offered everything you need for a pleasent stay! The onsen is wonderful and also very clean. You can get down to the traditional district with the hotel's shuttle bus very easily. We are happy to have spent our time at Tabino Hotel and would love to come back one day. Thank you!

The rooms were very comfortable and were well cleaned everyday. The onsen was very nice with good facilities, the outside bath was also a nice feature that I enjoyed. the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay.

The location is a little bit far from Takayama. Although the hotel offers a shuttle bus and there is a bus that can be taken to go into the town as well as the surrounding area, however these services are only once per hour so it is a little inconvenient.

Nice Hotel with small onsen with open bath, it was located in a peaceful rural area just out of Takayama. The hotel has a shuttle service with a cozy waiting room just out of Takayama Station, so the distance was not an issue (and it is also true that you can reach Takayama from the hotel walking for less than half an hour). Be sure to do a little walk in the surrounding area to find the little shrine under the waterfall.

I know that it is to defend the privacy of the guests, but the fence around the open bath ruined the experience a little.
