Great solution for visiting Sintra (15 min by car - private park available). The structure is very well maintained, everything is very clean. The B&B is positioned in a park with a lot of attractions: pool, climbing park, padel courts... and also have a taverna with an honesty bar, pool table, ping pong, and many other things. Staff was very helpful and very kind

Breakfast could be improved: everything was homemade and very tasty, but the choices was a bit limited

Room was a bit cold when we arrived, but ac was working, so we heated it up. unexpected booking, i guess.

Azen Cool House is an amazing place. You can hear the waves from your windows, everything is immaculately cleaned, very healthy breakfast with home made banana cake and on top of that: the hospitality of the crew. Ans yes, the game room is fun too!

nothing to dislike

Superb location, quiet nestled in nature and close to sea. We stayed in one of the detached individual bungalows, they are small but clean, very nice, well designed, light and bright. The breakfast was amazing and they were accommodating for special diets too. Staff were so very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Would have liked a full length mirror in one of the rooms for getting ready and heating for colder seasons (we were there in Feb was cold in the evenings).

Great place. Lots to do. Our bungalow was cute and had a view of the ocean. Nice 10 min walk to beautiful ocean cliffs. Good restaurants within short drive.

They kinda missed on the bungalow decor theme which was 'military'. They didn't completely over do it, however there was a combat gas mask on display in the bedroom...which I put into the heater closet because it was super creepy.

Azen Cool House is a lovely little retreat! Great location and wonderful grounds. As we were there in winter we didn't use the outdoor spaces but I could see this being really popular for summer. Breakfast YUM!

The space, it's a well thought guesthouse. It would be great to stay longer

The room was small and there's an issue with the shower that was wetting the floor all the way to the room. Simple things can be improved like having hangers for the shower towels

A hotel that exceeded all my expectations. Everything is perfect in it - location, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, cozy warm rooms, beautiful nature around. Everything is excellent. I will definitely come back again. See you soon!

The place is absolutely amazing. We came at a short notice and the host was very kind and welcoming. The room is nice and comfortable, there were two bathrooms wich was an amazing bonus! The main area was super fun and it includes table tennis, pull table, PlayStation, TV, gym facilities, kitchen and even a poker table and set! The breakfast was prepared by the host and it was exceeded our expectations

It was a bit far from Sintra center but we didnt mind it at all it was far better

Comfortable rooms on a beautiful property near the sea. There are also tons of great amenities on the property.

Breakfast was excellent The outdoor facilities were fantastic, two huge adventure climbing gyms, 3 padel courts together with bar and food, beautiful pool, volley ball court, garden chess, darts, hammocks all in a stunning setting. Inside gym/games room with table tennis and billiards. We'd need a week to try it all! This also comes with an honesty bar and fridge.

We found the "Bike" bedroom didn't work for us. It was a small room (which was not a problem) but one side of the double bed had no bedside table and no lamp. My husband wanted to read in the night so had to switch the bathroom light on to do so. A over -the-bed wall light would have been an improvement, together with a shelf above the bed.

The property: The outdoors space, there’s a lot of activities on the property: padel, snooker, swimming, trampoline, ping pong, pétanque you name it !! you jus can’t get bored there!! The garden is very green, nice and quiet. The restaurant on the property doesn’t have the broadest menu but it’s sufficient and good. The breakfast is very good and of quality. It’s ideal for families with kids and kids at heart !! About the surroundings: The views around the hotel and the hikes that surround it are incredible, the cliffs, the mountains, the ocean: everything is just breathtaking. Azenhas is a superb village with a natural pool that is mesmerizing. We recommend the restaurant close to Magoito that has a view on the ocean (take cash but it’s worth it!!)

The room that was given to us was very small. Although the furnishing of the room is smart and well packed, it was just hard to enjoy staying in. The shower leaked a couple times and a vent should be installed in the bathroom for the room gets very humid after one showers.

We chose this hotel mainly as a base for exploring Sintra and it was an excellent decision, providing welcome respite from the hordes of tourists there. The hotel is close to the village of Azenhas do Mar and there are a good range of restaurants nearby (although you would need a car). There is a food truck on site serving burgers etc and a great pool with outdoor furniture; lots of activities offered to keep people entertained - indoors and out. It has the feeling of a very chilled home, with several seating areas, all tastefully furnished/decorated, for people to use; there are also some lovely cabins in the garden. We had a balcony on 2 sides which was lovely for appreciating the garden. An excellent breakfast is served in a fabulous dining area with views on the garden. The staff are really pleasant and helpful, making us very welcome. Would definitely recommend it in its own right - not just for a visit to Sintra!

It wasn't really a problem, and would only be so for light sleepers, but you can hear noise from the road from early morning. If this is your issue, might be worth asking for a room that doesn't front on to the road - there were some!

We liked the bangolows and there was a very good breakfast in the morning. We liked location, in the samll town very close to the ocean.

Loved the Zen atmosphere, so many activities to participate in from the pool to the climbing wall. I loved the gym and all the other activities within, table tennis anyone, game of pool. It has been a real pleasure and had we not been in the area to attend a family wedding we may have enjoyed even more of the facilities. Highly recommended if you are looking to have some relaxation. All the staff have been so kind and would rebook in a heartbeat.

I have no complaints other than a previous visitor who swiped the sign for housekeeping ☹️
