Spacious apartment and nicely decorated! It’s a great location with just a 5 minute walk from the train station and about a 5 minute walk to the city center. I can’t recommend it enough! One adult and 4 kids stayed in the apartment so the 2nd bedroom with pull out beds was perfect for them!

The property was in a great location close to the city center. Practically equipped, clean.

The mattresses were way too soft.

We had #52 and # 53. Last year we had # 56.I like the a commendation at # 56 better. It was easier with one apartment instead of two.

Apartment is clean and very comfortable. location is close to everywhere (10 mins walk to Bryggen, to city centre area and to T1 light train to airport. Train station is only 3 mins walk). There was one day when the rain poired the whole day. We were able to go back to the apartment to wait out the rain for a bit and relax between sightseeings.

Basic toiletries could have been provided for the price.

Very close to most attractions. Close to Central Station - walking distance with suitcases. Close to light rail to go to airport - far cheaper than taking a taxi.

Location is very near to the central station. Many grocery stores in vicinity. The staff responded to our query very fast and acted on it promptly.

Second bedroom with four people only consist of two beds. The other two have to sleep on the mattress on the floor. The owner should provide four beds for four people.

Only suggestion would be to explain the dryer. Even after emptying the condenser plus lint trap and trying different cycles it didn’t dry our clothes. But, there was a handy drying rack in place. This wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.

The apartment was a great size for us. I travelled with my family and there were 6 adults, 2 kids and a baby and we had plenty of room. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everywhere you need to go, but quiet. The apartment was clean, warm and bright. Great layout and the washing machine and dryer were a added bonus.

It really could use a few basic amenities like salt, pepper, cooking oil, milk, butter etc as well as shower gel and body wash. It’s an apartment so it invites groups who don’t necessarily want to eat out every meal, provides all the cutlery, crockery and pots you could need, then absolutely nothing else. It was extremely frustrating and took away from the stay a lot. Also, the beds were pretty terrible. It’s clear not a lot of money has been spent on the beds. The one my parents were sleeping on actually collapsed while they were in it. No one was hurt and I notified the hosts but 12+ hours later and no response, so wanted to include it in this review. I just hope they fix it before the next group checks in. This might sound like there were more negatives than positives but we really did enjoy our stay and I would recommend this place, I just really hope the hosts listen to the feedback and provide some amenities and fix the beds!

Communication was excellent, i got responses over email very quickly for queries that i raised. Rooms and facilities were just as advertised. Very spacious hall/dining/kitchen area - this was very important for our party of 4. Due to bad weather we had to spend quite some time indoors and the availability of a common space was very much appreciated.

The beds in bedroom were a bit small especially for taller/larger persons

The apartment was big enough for the whole family and close to the city centre, so all the attractions were within a walking distance. There was everything that you need for a comfortable stay.

There was a lot of humidity/condensation on the windows so some sort of ventilation system should be installed as there was already some mold. (Just a suggestion...)
