Host was very friendly and helpful. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Situation very good for eastern side of Yorkshire Dales, and not too far for anywhere else in Dales or for Lake District. Good information for local walks and general attractions.

Exit on to main road could be awkward when it was busy.

I was overall very pleased with the accommodation and Bryan as the host for this lovely cottage. Bryan was extremely accommodating, friendly, and very pleasant.

Lovely cottage, prefect for couples with all amenities you would want. Bryan was very welcoming. Lovely location to explore the dales, lots of info on local walks and things to do provided in a folder in the cottage, which is very useful.

Owner has given a lot of thought to make it a comfortable stay.

Bryan was a great host. Contact with him was easy from key collection to him giving us advice on the local area. The cottage was superb, we had 4 nights of absolute bliss. The cottage is near to the main road but you cannot hear the traffic, there is no disturbance at all. The facilities were great, the cottage had everything we needed. Would highly recommend

Very easy to collect the keys, lovely facilities and garden. Bryan was very welcoming, recommended some local places to eat/visit - we didn't see him after the initial arrival but he made it clear he was available if ever needed. The cottage was well prepared, clean & well equipped kitchen. We were very impressed with the file Bryan has prepared, packed full of local walks with detailed guides; really stood out to us as a nice touch - we did 3 of these taking the instructions out with us and they were perfect. Nice big private garden area with garden furniture.

Unfortunately the garden is located on the main road through settle which is an extremely busy road with lots of HGV traffic. You cannot really hear the road noise from inside the cottage, (nor see it as the garden is well enclosed with a high fence) however it is very noisy when sat out in the garden. This would absolutely not stop us from going back as the cottage, village, and surrounding area were all 10/10. Just something to be aware of when booking if you are planning on sitting outside.
