The location is the best in the area, and the staff was great.

The bed was very uncomfortable, it was like a big couch pullout bed.

Bedding was cheap and not very warm. Room was dusty smelling. Even my daughter commented on how cheap the hotel was. Breakfast was a big disappointment, small crapped area to get food and choice was very limited

the hot tub was disgusting. you couldn’t see the bottom. and because it was attached to the pool there was nothing to keep the nasty out of the pool. the beds were so soft you sunk in and couldn’t get out. not all of the outlets worked. the top outlet might work but the bottom one wouldn’t work. the property really needs updated

Location was great. Restaurants available were good. Escanaba is great base location for travel in the U.P.

Handicapped accessible room was almost too small. The distance between the dresser and end of the bed was tight. Had to move a chair to get to the other side of bed. Probably should have a queen size bed verse a King. Bathroom was ok.

The breakfast was continental. Not great, but adequate. They are really working on the facilities. It was a good one night stay and the price was good. The staff was great however.

The facility was one of the lowest quality we have ever stayed in. We were very disappointed that booking.com supported this place.

The wife got a backache from the bed.

Nails poking out of carpet stepped on, toilet seat shifting on toilet had to hand tighten. Nobody answered the front desk phone I tried 4 times. Location was the only thing that worked. What was there to like?

Price, pillows were wasted, hall carpets are super worn out, staff wasn't very friendly. Didn't feel very welcome.

The comfort and cleanliness really exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was as expected but offered fresh fruit.

Staff were friendly and accommodating, up to a point. We requested a room move, if possible, from the first which was smokey smelling. But when told our room had a dripping tub faucet, there was no ofter to move us again, because there was no plumber or repair person available to help. The hotel was not fully booked either of the two nights, so maybe they could have tried again... There was a nice sized refrigerator and a small microwave provided.

Dripping tub faucet, lack of maintenance staff available to address, first room was smokey smelling (though all rooms are non-smoking), broken window screen (so could not open the window for fresh air), breakfast was marginal, breakfast room was clearly a "retro fit" for this hotel... West facing exit door at mid-point of hotel was stuck hard upon attempting to exit...initially thought it was locked...which would have been a terrible problem in the event of having to exit in dire circumstances...like fire or other problem. There were no clean towels brought or replacement coffee, etc...no housekeeping...which was not told to us at check-in. Though it is a chain backing up this Travelodge, it felt very "mom and pop" ... We were told that this unit was recently sold to a new owner, and that many renovations and repairs have not been done due to many circumstances.

It was across the street from the fairgrounds, we had our two dogs with us and it was great having all that space to walk them. There were two or three restaurants within walking distance. Rooms was spacious and comfy. Staff were very friendly.

I have no complaints.
