We were there for 1 week, and could not have had a better home to stay in. There were 17 family members, ages 10 months to 92 years and the home was extremely comfortable for everyone. With 9 kids along, we could easily stay at the home with a heated swimming pool, hot tub, bonfire pit and the beauty of Lake Michigan! Chris was very responsive to emails and answered extra questions that I had before and after booking. We are already talking about another vacation there!

The house was in a great location, clean and well maintained. Plenty of refrigerators, utensils and appliances including 2 sets of washer/driers. The new ice maker was especially appreciated! The property was amazing! We enjoyed the views of the Lake, the heated (large) pool, the hot tub and the fire circle. Many attractions within 30-45 minutes with a Walmart "almost" around the corner. Chris and Family were gracious and generous hosts with their wealth of information and welcoming process. Perfect for a mixed age family group of 14.

In addition to the many wonderful amenities already listed for this property, I would add hot water is immediate and abundant. As a hotel executive, I rarely stay at VRBO properties, however, this family vacation bringing members from NYC, Salt Lake City, and Columbus required a special place to accommodate us. Being from Michigan, I knew about the breathtaking views and beaches. This home provided much more.

This is one of the best rentals we have stayed at. The house is very clean, spacious, stocked - with beautiful updates and classic lake decor. The host was quick to respond to any inquiries. The view is beautiful - from the house and lakefront. We loved the pool table, hot tub, and sitting in the gazebo at the lake. Location is close to restaurants and stores, and a short walk to Dune Harbor Park (pretty hike around two lakes, one goes out to Lake Mich). Only downside for our spring break stay was being unable to access/walk the beach from the house stairs, due to high waters.

Fantastic location with plenty to do. Lots of space for a comfortable stay with close friends. Hot tub was great, pool table and entertainment area was very nice. Beautiful kitchen with plenty of amenities!! Several nights of beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend and likely return. Thanks.

Beautiful spacious house that more than adequately accommodated our large family of 19 to come together for an amazing weekend! We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the hot tub! There were great hiking trails nearby and the beautiful views of Lake Michigan from this home were spectacular! We highly recommend this property!

My parents don't like to travel - so for their 50th wedding anniversary, my sister and I gave them a family sleep-over at this home (just a few minutes from their house). There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. The views of Lake Michigan are great. The home itself had plenty to do - a pool table (which was used a ton) and lots of TV's throughout the home. There is even a room with 4 queen beds that all of our kids used - and they loved it. The property owners were very accommodating and communicated well. We'd definitely stay again.

The property was beautiful and was the perfect home for our family Christmas of 17 people. The home has everything you need for a stay. The common areas were large and open so it was great to be able to interact with each other but also had enough separate space for everyone to get away and be by themselves if we wanted. The kitchen is large and very well-appointed and has every appliance you would need to cook large meals. We were lucky that the weather during our stay was nice enough that we were able to use the hot tub walk the property out to the dune bluff and take the steps down to Lake Michigan. The location is perfect and very close to shopping and restaurants yet the house itself is in a nice area surrounded by trees to help you feel more private. The host was great to work with and answered any questions we had. Check-in and check-out were very easy and simple. We are planning to come back to the house again next year!

This house had enough room for all 13 of us to live comfortably! We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and large kitchen the most. Hope to come back during the summer to take advantage of the big swimming pool and beach!

Lots of space for a large family gathering. Fully stocked kitchen for those of us that actually love to cook (even on vacation😊)

We had a wonderful stay enjoying the pool, hot tub and beach area. Our group had plenty of space to spread out. The bonfire pit was the perfect area to look over the lake and also view 4th of July fireworks. Smooth check-in/check-out, easy communication with the owner, no issues!

My family and I stayed here while in town for a family funeral. It was great to have a place where we could all stay in comfort and reconnect. The house was beautiful and the views of Lake Michigan were outstanding. I would love to return again for a less somber occasion.

This place is huge and the layout was fun! If only I could come back in the summer! So much space, so many things to do right at the property. Games, pool table, hot tub. We also went to the Muskegon Luge Adventure Park nearby. Highly recommend!

This past summer we stayed for a wonderful week with our family and extended family, and wanted to come back again. The home is beautiful and spacious, and the large kitchen is has everything. The commercial stove is a chefs dream! The beds are super comfy and the house was sparkling clean. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the owners were helpful with dining tips and local attractions. We are looking forward to coming back this summer.

The house is large with plenty of room to stretch out, was super clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed fires in the evening overlooking Lake Michigan and roasting s’mores. We plan to come back next year.

This is an exceptional home and property. The views of Lake Michigan and the sunsets were amazing. The home is spacious, nicely decorated, and well layed out. The beds are comfy and the home was very clean. The owners were helpful with dining tips and things to see and do. We will defiantly be back next summer.

It was a great place to rent. Our family really enjoyed ourselves while we are at the property! This property is mother-in-law approved! 😄 We got some great sunsets and fires in the backyard. My favorite part was getting to shoot some hoops while waiting for the family to get to the car. We definitely would come back!

The view was spectacular! The pictures of the home were misleading. I am a heart transplant patient and am still suffering from mold exposure in the house. The washing machine was full of mold and there was mold in the bathrooms. Plumbing needed a good routing at minimum to clean it out. “Don’t look up and don’t look down” . The home is in need of maintenance and a thorough cleaning. The first night during a large storm I reported to the manager leaking in the windows on a the lower level. On inspection the next morning this was not the first leakage. No one came to remedy the problem and we did not use the lower level at all. Our children loved the pool, but after a major storm it should have had an additional inspection.

This house sits on an incredible property. The house has lots of room and it fit eight of us easily. The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was great. We even had smores at the fire pit. The biggest drawback is that the access to Lake Michigan and the beach has been washed away and while the view is incredible, you have to drive to get to a beach. I didn't initially realize that there was no beach access when booking the home.

My family (me, my five adult children, their partners, kids and 2 dogs) spent a wonderful week at Norton Shores at the end of July. The property is beautiful, tucked away and private, with lots of space to spread out - and to gather. I will echo the other 5 star reviews in saying that the week met all of our expectations. The pool, beautiful firepit, deck, indoor space/layout of the home, incredible views and sunsets, and proximity to activities made it a true vacation for all of us. Twelve people unanimously agreed that this is a home that we would love to return to in the future. After the year or so of separation and caution that we'd all been through, being together that week, relaxing and enjoying each other, was good medicine. I truly appreciate all the care that is put into the home, and the care that is provided for visitors like us!

We really enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of space with 6 adults and 1 toddler. The pool was great and very clean. The fire pit was perfect for sunsets in the lake. The professional gas stove was great to cook on and the kitchen is fairly well stocked.

Really nice place. Pool was wonderful. The property advertised as being on Lake Michigan and the lake required climbing down steps. The property manager told me that the beach might not be great due to the high water levels but said he hadn't been there himself. Well, you couldn't get to the lake as the stairs were gone, and at the base of the bluff was a lot of concrete debrit (probalby to slow down erosion) and pilings sticking up so even if you could get to the water you wouldn't want to go in it. Very disappointing. There are nice public beaches nearby so all was not lost. But you need to more clearly call out things like this so people know what they are getting into. this was a lot of money for no lake access.
