Host (Ambrogio) collected us from the station and even drove us to and from Sorrento centre.

Ambrogio, our host could not have been nicer or more generous with timings and helpful hints on places to see or eat. The house is beautiful with excellent facilities. It made a nice break from being right in the middle of Sorrento (where we were the previous week) and gave us an opportunity to see more of the real Sorrento with coffee bars, local shops and was a nice break from eating out every night. Great local butcher and supermarket within 3 minute walk led to BBQ's and chance to relax in the lovely surroundings of Villa D'Esposito.
The villa is in Sant D'Agnello which is either a 10 minute walk to the station and a 2 euro return trip (5 minute journey) or a 30 euro taxi fare from Sorrento. However, compare the price to a villa in Sorrento and the privacy, it is worth it.

Large roomy and cool (temperature) villa. Really large rooms and welcoming hosts. The pool is great and the furniture very comfortable. Highly recommend booking with Ambrogio!

The situation in close proximity to public transport to all amenities - you do not need a car. The owner was so hospitable bringing pastries one morning when it was raining- and advising on restaurants etc Seven adult family members and a 3 year old who loved the pool.

Villa D’Esposito is an incredibly beautiful place to stay while visiting Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. The rooms were impeccable, with comfortable beds and sofas and the bathroom clean and modern, everything is new. It also has a gorgeous infinity pool, 10 minutes walk to beach and centre with restaurants, shops, boutiques etc. 2 minutes walk to a supermarket.
Will definitely come again and recommend this place to friends!!
