Was a wonderful location. Easy access to the beach, restaurants and could walk everywhere,. Most important was being able to walk to our daughters house and seeing our grandchildren.

We just spent a month at this perfectly located, extra spacious townhouse. Fully stocked HUGE kitchen. New stainless steel appliances, bbq grill on private deck, and another on the shared upper deck. Electric fireplace for cool mornings and evenings. Even has a private elevator to move luggage and people between floors. Only steps to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Everything provided for a fun time ... generous selection of beach bikes, surfboards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, sports equipment, beach towels. The hosts, Kirk and Mary Jo, are fantastic! Super accommodating and available if needed. We will definitely be back next year!

Kirk and Mary Jo are the best to rent from and you can not ask for a better home or location. I highly recommend staying at this property. Kirk and Mary Jo are very responsive and very kind. My favorite beach house by far

Wow! What a nice property!! Kirk was an amazing host. He gave us a full run through of the features of the house and neighborhood. The fun equipment available made it really easy. Several bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards and surf boards. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck. The beds were very comfortable. We couldnt have had a nicer stay!!

Everything about our Hermosa Beach House experience was perfect! We leased the property for a month and we were not ready to leave when our time was up! The owners/managers of the property were top notch. Couldn’t of asked for better! Home is less than a block from the beach and just a few blocks from restaurants, bars and the market for groceries. We enjoyed all of the activities! Beach Volleyball, beach tennis, boogie boarding, surfing, biking, running and walking on the Strand. Thank you Ayers for having us enjoy your beautiful Beach House, would love to make it back out again sometime in the near future!

I can't even describe how wonderful our two month stay was. Kirk and Mary Jo were amazing and treated us like we had lived there forever and we were all just good friends living in the same complex. Everything about the place is incredible: the location, the kitchen, garage full of any beach need possible. It is just an amazing place, and we feel so lucky to have found dates available for us to experience it, and I would book it again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful experience here. The location is ideal as you are steps from the beach and right by all the shops and restaurants at the Hermosa Pier. The house itself is very comfortable and equipped with everything you might need for a great beach stay — towels, bikes, surf boards, beach chairs, volleyballs, sand toys, etc. WiFi worked well and kitchen was well stocked for a longer stay. The outdoor balcony and rooftop are great places to catch some sunshine and relax. Kirk and Mary Jo were great to deal with and we’re so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

Mary Jo and Kirk are incredible hosts! The place was perfect but if we needed anything they are always available to help! It was so clean especially during Covid. We absolutely loved it, didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!! Thanks for the best trip!!

The accommodations were great? The only downfalll was the construction of a hotel going on across the street. Usually stopped by 4:00 so sitting on the lovely patio was great in the afternoon and evening. The location made it Easy to walk or ride your bike to everywhere. We love this house! We have stayed in this property before and we our always looking forward to returning. This house becomes part of our vacation. We feel at home here. The location to the the Pier and Pier Avenue for restaurants and shopping is convenient. We appreciate the bikes available for our bike rides to Venice Beach ! This home and Hermosa Beach make our trips from the East Coast memorable.

This was our third time staying at Mary Jo’s home, and it gets better each visit. The house itself becomes part of our vacation... we enjoy spending time in the large kitchen, on the balcony and the rooftop deck. The beds and the bedding are comfortable and relaxing. The elevator is not only fun, but comes in handy with the luggage. Everything about the home makes you feel welcome. The location is amazing, so close to the ocean and we love spending time in Hermosa Beach, there is so much to do! We take walks on the strand and the Pier, and we love to ride the bikes all the way to Venice Beach. A short walk to Pier Avenue offers your choice of coffee shops, restaurants, and retail shops. Early in the morning, we love to go get coffee to watch the sunrise, and we head out to the beach after dinner to watch the beautiful Southern California sunset. Mary Jo is so friendly and always available & helpful if you need anything. A fantastic host! We travel from the East Coast, to visit our family in Los Angeles, and we can't imagine staying anywhere else for our beach vacation.

This was our second time here and can't wait to go back. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Short walks to everything and plenty to do with all the beach amenities. Thank you again Mary Jo for being a great host!

We have grown to love Hermosa Beach and all it has to offer. This home is convenient to everything and we can walk or ride bikes to do anything we want. We are so lucky to be in a house that has so many amenities, a parking spot, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, an elevator , washer & dryer. bicycles ... the list goes on and on. Great location. Just steps from the beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Very nice place! Clean, nice amenities and comfortable. A great add was all of the beach items that were available. Chairs, toys, bikes, umbrellas, etc.

We loved this house so much; it actually became a part of our vacation! Everything exceeded our expectations and we could not have asked for anything more. The house is extremely clean, well kept, and beautifully decorated… we felt like we were at home. The kitchen is amazing and was stocked with more appliances and extras than we could ever use. (The elevator was a big hit!) We enjoyed our morning coffee on the Balcony or the Rooftop Deck and most evenings watched the sun set into the Ocean. One of the best features is the location. A few steps to the Strand and the beach then a just few blocks to the Hermosa Pier and Pier Avenue. The owners were so accommodating and extremely nice. We can’t rave about this house enough and look forward to returning.

The house is great. Very close to the beach (1 block), 2 blocks from the main street in Hermosa beach and the Pier. The bike ride to Manhattan beach is only 1.6 miles. So easy on the strand. My 7 year old did it with no problem. I did buy a 20 inch bike and helmet for her (left it at the house). The house was the best stocked house I have ever rented from. She has starters for everything you need. The garage is stocked with EVERYTHING you need for the beach. Bikes (which are very expensive to rent), wagon, lots of chairs, toys, boogie boards, surf boards. One washer and 2 dyers. So great. The house is clean and the kitchen had great appliances. The porch was great. My only 'issue' was we were here in August and didn't get much of a breeze at the house. She bought a window unit for the master bedroom which was a life saver. BUT this could just be my issue. We are from Texas and I like to sleep in the cold - we like our AC units in Texas :). My kids didn't really complain. Again, only an issue in mid-August. New construction across the street but it really wasn't an issue. Beginning stage. The house is amazing! And Mary Jo was great to work with! Hermosa Beach is so fun with lots to do, great beach, and great restaurants. So close to LA. We were here for 2 weeks and enjoyed everything.

This property and it's owner could not have been more perfect. My kids and I had a wonderful time and the house came with anything your would need for your stay and the beach.

The house looked just like the pictures. The beds were all very comfy, everyone slept well. The kitchen was even better than expected. It had every kitchen gadget, pot, pan, knife even the most picky cook could want. The garage had several bikes that we would ride almost daily on the Strand. There were tons of chairs, umbrellas, towels, sand toys....everything you could want for the beach. It was great!

Excellent location!!! Less than a few houses from the sand and 2 blocks from all the bars and clubs. Clean beautiful home that's completely equipped with beach accessories. Mary Jo, the owner is also very sweet!..love love love this rental! Definitely rent again when we come back to Hermosa.

We had a great long weekend here. Our family of five and one guest fit very comfortably in this updated, well-appointed 2nd/3rd floor unit. Great location, just a few houses off the Hermosa Strand - a short walk to the pier, shops, bars, restaurants, coffee, and recreation. The shared roof deck and private south-facing covered balcony were both very nice. The shared garage is equipped with bikes (seven beach cruisers!), boogie boards, a soft-top surfboard, beach towels, chairs, frisbees, volleyballs, etc. The kitchen is modern, spacious, and perfect for those who prefer to cook and eat in. We will definitely be back soon and may rent the adjoining unit and bring another family. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience, the value, and Mary Jo's attentiveness.

The property was beautiful and well maintained! It's best feature is definitely its location just steps from the beach and the Strand in Hermosa Beach. The home had all the amenities you could need-and then some! It offered beach supplies, bikes, surf boards as well! I was very impressed. The outside spaces are beautiful. We stayed here for a small family reunion with my brother in Manhattan Beach and loved time on the balcony and roof deck. The only downside is that the other two bedrooms (besides master) are small and could barely fit suitcases open. The solution for this was to utilize the closet space and shelves which worked out great! Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed in Hermisa beach for 4 nights. This house has pretty much everything we could have needed. The kitchen is completely updated and had everything we needed which was nice because we wouldn't have been able to bring our own cookware like we normally do on trips like this The rooftop deck had spectacular views. We enjoyed sitting up there while having a cocktail in the evenings. There is also another nice deck on the main floor. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the beach and several great restaurants. It was a little warm in the house with no a/c and the fans provided (except for the one in the master-that one was great) were a bit loud and didn't cool as much as we would have liked. Normally I think you could open windows and be ok but unfortunately for us it rained most of the time (obviously not the owner's fault!). All in all I would definitely rent this house again. The owner is very responsive and very accommodating. The house is lovely inside and out and in a great area.

We recently spent Spring Break at the Hermosa house with 2 adults and 2 teens. The description and pictures are spot on and the house has everything you could need and plenty of room. Lots to do within walking distance with shops and restaurants within two blocks and the beach and Strand at the end of the block. Bicycles provided were a great addition and made it easier to explore. Would definitely recommend this house if you are looking for a Southern California getaway. Owner was great to deal with and very responsive.

the place was clean and comfortable everything we needed was there. walk out the door and within a block the beach, bars, restaurants and stores were all there. the pier was only couple blocks away . plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. description of place was accurate. would rent again

This is a wonderful house in a truely great location. We rented both the upper and lower units and had two families stay. There is plenty of space to relax and just about anything you can think of is provided. So many restaurants, bars and, of course, the beach are all within a quick walk. Mary Joe was great to work with and I'd recommend this place to everyone!
