Historic log cabin on beautiful Lake Catherine.
Cette cabane en rondins historique construite dans les années 1920 a été restaurée dans sa gloire d'origine avec l'ajout d'équipements modernes, ce qui en fait le meilleur des deux mondes.
Notre cabine est d'env. 1000 pieds carrés avec une terrasse qui s'enroule sur 2 côtés vous offrant de l'intimité pendant que vous vous asseyez et vous détendez.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights. We enjoyed the fact that the cabin was away from all the noises of the town. We loved sitting on the back porch and drinking our coffee. It was only about 15 minutes from downtown Hot Springs. The view of the river was great and peaceful.

Overall, this was a disappointing stay. The living room was nice and the bed was very comfortable, but overall we were not happy. There was no gas bbq grill as pictured in the photos

This rustic cabin is a quiet retreat although just a 5 minute drive to restaurants and other conveniences. It’s in a low traffic neighborhood if you want to do a little walking. It is a good 15-20 minute drive to downtown Hot Springs. It’s a great place for some peace and quiet.

Cabin was comfortable and unique. Very nice sitting out on large deck looking down on the lake. Would definitely recommend this beautiful old cabin. No sirens or road noise just birds singing

Overall pleasant 4-day stay. Owner was hands on fixer for most issues; it seems that problems could have been avoided with regular upkeep.
Loved the layout, porch and furnishings. Cabin needs more regular attention to fix its routine maintenance issues/items. This would make guest stays smoother and less interruptive.

This is our second time at the property. We had a great time.

Me and my husband went for our honeymoon weekend and it was great. The view of the river was beautiful and the area was quiet enough to relax on the porch and listen to the birds. Very clean and not far from the activities we planned. The only thing I would suggest to update is the washing machine. At the end when it was done washing the clothes, the water did not drain all the way and you had to ring out the clothes before placing in the dryer. But other than that eveything was great! We really loved this cabin stay!

Loved this location and the cabin is absolutely enchanting! The only complaint I could make (which I’m not making) is that the duraflame log wasn’t provided as expected.

My husband and I loved the cabin feel. It was close enough to the major attractions on Central Street, yet gave the outdoor, camping vibe. We grilled burgers and started a small fire in the fire pit. My husband walked down to the river/lake and fished one afternoon. It was a very peaceful, relaxing stay.

Thank you so much for our stay at your quaint cabin above the river. We loved all the amenities. We spent a lot of time on your front porch as well on your soft cozy couch. We grilled steaks and fixed meals using your stove and oven. Everything thing including the fast WiFi worked great! Oh, and what a soft comfy bed. I love the thick warm comforter on the bed too.
If we may, we'll make a few suggestions for your next visitors and/or us as we'd like to come back. It would be nice to have a small clothes-hanging rack in the bedroom, plastic or microwaveable mixing bowls and a whisk in the kitchen (the mixer came in handy but a little much for a small task); and the shower head could use some updating though it did do the purpose.

Our daughter booked this cabin for our anniversary. It was a great weekend. The cabin is beautiful. It has basically everything you need. Very relaxing and quiet! Thank you for the experience.

The door would not lock and could be easily pushed open. Nothing provided except toilet paper. I didn’t see where no pets were allowed and mine were under 10 pounds and made absolutely no mess. Heat was horrible and the Hot water was horrible. The booking was messed up and the owner said it was ok then called back to chew us out about the pets when she could have told us when she showed up. 1 out of 10. I want even talk about the smelly carpet and over ran shrubs.

The hosts for this cabin were more than accommodating. They made sure what we had everything that we needed including extra heaters. Knowing it was going to be colder than usual they called and gave us the option to rebook. We chose not too and I’m glad we didn’t. It is cozy and cute, just like the description and pictures are spot on accurate. In terms of some of the other reviews, it is a 100 yr old cabin. It is going to have imperfections and isn’t the Ritz. If you walk around naked, 24/7, this may not work for you. Overall, our stay was perfect, the cabin is wonderful, and the location is great. Highly recommend!

Breath taking View! Not a 5 star resort but doesn’t pretend to be. Only drawback is finding the parking in the back. Don’t come at NIGHT as it would be almost impossible to find. But once you’re there, I can guarantee it was everything I was looking for in a cabin

We absolutely loved the cabin! The deck & view were amazing. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness is because the interior log walls were a little dusty. No biggie. I would definitely stay here again.

After a walkthrough and noting the dirty conditions of bedroom and living room, we booked a hotel in town and never went back.

Well, we have stayed here multiple times. Due to issues beyond out of our control, this is the first visit in over a year. We felt like we were home again. We love this place so. My husband would never leave again. As usual, Nate and Dona have the cabin in immaculate shape. We never want for anything while we are there. Hopefully it will not be so long before we can come again. You will not be disappointed. (Just don't reserve when we want to. Haha).

We were totally totally satisfied with the cabin exceeded our expectations .The description is on point ! I have already requested another stay. Perfect for couples , sisters or friends. Cabin has everything you need . Not expecting a 5 star hotel, you are in nature . Beautiful views , great location to Hot Springs and oter attractions !!

Great vacation get away. The cabin was amazing!! Cozy and romantic. The views of the mountains and the lake were breathtaking. Great place to relax and slow down. Everything is close by so you don't have to wander too far. It was the perfect place and we will definitely be back again!!! Nate and Donna (the owners) were very helpful and friendly. Got back to us quickly with all the questions we had. (Sorry guys :) ) Great place to recharge!!

The pictures look amazing. We arrived late so it was dark out. We circled around the house multiple times finally found the address not lit at all. The. We could not find where to park. Again we circled around. Finally, we found that you get to the house by the street behind the house! Still not labeled well. The house itself was clean. We ended up having to clean the isolating fan ourselves because there was so much dust on it, that it was not producing any cool air. Not much lighting at all. I was trying to get ready for our wedding and just praying I looked decent once we walked out! Hah.

Wow-this was a PERFECT RETREAT from the hustle and bustle of life! We loved the rustic and historic aspect, which transported our minds to a simpler time. It was in a peaceful area, with a gorgeous view from the wide wrap-around porch! They’ve done a good job of updating an old place with modern appliances and all that’s needed. We absolutely recommend it to others and would love to return! ❤️

My wife and I really enjoyed the privacy of this property. We loved the view of the water and wildlife. Deer coming and going and it was great to sit out on the porch steps and look at the stars. This was our first ever log cabin experience and we were very happy. Would recommend to anyone.

After getting passed the absndoned mobile home atbthe front of the road, and atriving at the cabin, it was overall nice. The rustic feel was definitely something we like, and this cabin gave that vibe. The air conditioner didnt seem to be able to keep up with the summer heat. Which at times, temps got up to 98 degrees. This seemed to be our only complaint, and some of the surrounding properties were not maintained, overgrown weeds.
