Calme, sûre et pratique, cette chambre dispose d’une salle de bains privative et de tous les équipements attendus d’un hôtel haut de gamme. Des serviettes et des peignoirs extra-doux, des draps en coton égyptien d'au moins 800 pièces, de nombreux oreillers en duvet alternatif et vous adorerez le confort du lit queen-size! La chambre dispose d'une cafetière Keurig et de dosettes, d'un mini-réfrigérateur et d'un snack-bar. Il est à environ 20 minutes de la plage, Del Mar et La Jolla. A wonderful stay in every way. The location was ideal, near so many great attractions and close to Del Mar and the ocean, in a welcoming neighborhood next to everything needed. Our hosts were very warm and thought of every detail we required. They asked if we needed anything and we couldn’t think of one item that wasn’t already provided. The room was clean and inviting. Had a wonderful time!

My parents needed a place to stay where there wasn’t stairs so I booked this room for a visit. The host came out to say hello, noticed they were older and offered to switch rooms so they could have a walk in shower instead of a bathtub with shower. He was so gracious the entire time!

Very nice place. Super clean, private area to sit outside. Great for us as there were two couples with adjacent rooms. The hosts were very friendly as well. Very nice area, safe and quiet.

Our trip was scheduled more than a month ago. My son and I go to Del Mar every year and watch horse racing. We arrived on 8-19-23 as scheduled. It was a nice day with no rain. The forecast for Sunday, however, called for severe storms so racing was canceled.
Ok, enough of the disappointment regarding horse racing!
The Villa was perfect for the two of us. The eatery’s were close and the accommodations provided by John and Laura were excellent! Everything we needed was there and in good shape.
A quick shoutout to Laura who was gracious enough to greet my son and I as soon as we arrived. Although not necessary, she apologized for not having the outside furniture available as if Hilary was her fault! My only regret is that as we departed I did not have the opportunity to thank her and John in person for allowing us to stay at such a wonderful place.

A cute bedroom connected to the side of the house with our own entrance - This was a great find in a beautiful safe neighborhood. My bf and I enjoyed our stay here. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do - visit family, trail running (lots of great places to walk and run, including within the area itself).There were lots of families taking walks during the day, and everyone was very friendly. The beach wasn't far, and many great restaurants were close to us. The owners were great, always available if needed, and we absolutely loved meeting their fur babies.

Upon arrival everything was nice and clean and the windows were open to let in an amazing cool breeze. The home had unique locks that made great accents to the cabinets and doors. The whole time was very quiet you could hear a little noise from people inside but overall it was nothing a little tv could fix. We came for a wedding and had everything we could need including a mini fridge and coffee set up (lifesaver). Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay and just relax away from the crazy downtown this is a great choice. Just 20 min from North Park and La Jolla it was as great center place with lots of pretty homes surrounding it and safe! Thanks again for an amazing stay.

There was no experience.. We rented it for four nights but after seeing what we thought would be a great place was far from great. The photo showing the accommodations was Very inaccurate. There was no refrigerator, no a/c. and after unloading had to park on the street….television was ROKU and not your normal cable provider and very difficult to figure out. When asked about laundry facilities before arriving he said… ask and he would help… he never mentioned anything about having to pay $10 PER LOAD and it was not in the room. We loaded up our luggage and checked into the Holiday Inn in Carlsbad and were not offered any refund . Soo glad we made the move.
I will say that John the caretaker of the place was nice and he lives in the same place but we felt DUPED!

North County Getaway
Very pleasing and comfortable unit in a quiet neighborhood in North County. I arrived a bit before posted checkin time and host John let me in early, walking me through the checkin steps in person. The room was as described in the listing, with many luxury touches and a really comfortable mattress and pillows. Perks included Peet’s coffee and Half and Half for my morning brew! It met my needs perfectly. I will definitely stay here again on my frequent trips to visit family in San Diego.

We enjoyed this beautiful villa. The property was beautiful and decorated so nice. The villa was very large the pictures don’t do it justice. Comfortable for 2 people. The icing for us was the cleanliness you don’t get anymore. Better than most fine hotels. Jay and Laura were warm and friendly. Will rebook if ever in San Diego area for sure!

Quiet Neighborhood
Enjoyed the walking trail nearby and the quiet neighborhood. Linens on the bed are heavenly! Be aware that there is some noise from upstairs or adjoining Villa that comes through to this Villa, but it doesn’t persist into the evening and wasn’t a bother.

Cute one room retreat!
As a Vrbo host myself, this home is the exact standard I like to hold my own property to! Clean room and linens, great communication and small yet helpful traveling perks like a fridge, microwave and a space heater. The wifi was also strong as I was able to seamlessly stream Netflix and watch a playoff football game. I would be remiss if I also didn't call out the beautiful neighborhood, the house sits on a cul de sac and there was plenty of street parking! I hope to stay here again next time I am in San Diego!

Perfect Place
I came down to SD for a conference - Friday was a day off do I just hung out at the place and rested, read and took care of myself - perfect day. Saturdqay was a seminar day - when I came home it was quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. The appointments in the room were beautiful.

Perfect weekend getaway!
We decided to get away for the weekend last minute and were lucky to find this little gem of a place. We typically stay near the ocean, but don’t regret this choice at all. It was so cozy and not a bad drive to the beaches and downtown. We would definitely stay here again

Super cozy and safe, wonderfully appointed studio. Had small microwave fridge and coffee maker. Everything you would need to relax after a busy day. Close to a bunch of freeways in California easy check in process. We hope to stay again!
