Beautiful bed and breakfast everything from the moment we arrived was wonderful. Already planning our next stay. So close to center of town and the innkeepers John and Laurence were very friendly and offered some wonderful ideas for dinner and things to do while sightseeing. Definitely will be staying at The Almondy Inn again soon.

The innkeepers were great. They were fun and welcoming. Breakfast was very gourmet. The furnishings are elegant and well thought out. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was excellent.

I would have liked a more comfortable chair in my bedroom.

The breakfast was amazing. Hostess Laurence is an accomplished baker. I am still dreaming about the sweet Breton cake, Kouign-amann, we had on our first morning. Host John is full of good recommendations for sightseeing and dining options. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed the wine & cheese hour meeting our fellow guests. The Sunset Room was small but with a lovely view; it was cozy and perfectly suited to our needs. We also appreciated the central location. We were able to walk to dinner every night.

There is a piano bar at the end of the street. The music wasn't an issue so much as the patrons leaving the bar at night who may be a bit noisy. However, ear plugs were provided in the room and we never had a bad night sleep in the end.

The breakfast was gourmet and so delicious it was like I was in France. Love the 5pm wine & cheese so much fun.

The breakfasts were exceptional. Their location is so convenient and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The room was beautiful, quiet, and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the breakfast (super filling), inn keepers are amazing - super helpful and welcoming, the cheese and wine in the evening with other guests was great! The bed was comfortable, wifi was excellent (I was able to connect to an evening class with no issues), bathroom was large and everything clean. Having bottles of water every day at no charge is appreciated.

This is my third time in Newport and this place is by far my favorite. Location is unbeatable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wine and cheese hour is a big plus and breakfast was delicious.

Just 1/2 block from Bowen’s Wharf, the Inn is in the perfect location for walking to restaurants and shop. Breakfast was delicious both days of our visit and we appreciated that they accommodated our gluten-free and dairy sensitive food issues. Our king bed was super comfortable too.

We stayed two nights in the Plantation Room. The bedroom was thoughtfully appointed, the bed super comfortable and the bathroom's Jacuzzi tub was decorated with a lovely heron mosaic. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs after a day of exploring Newport. Innkeepers John and Laurence were attentive and served us the most amazing breakfasts! We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at the Almondy and will certainly be back!

Everything! Location was fabulous. Innkeepers so welcoming, friendly & helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The breakfasts were the best! All food home made, delicious and different each day.

Almondy Inn is probably the best B&B we have ever stayed at in Newport! From the incredibly well-appointed and beautifully restored house with tasteful furnishings and exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms to the amazing breakfast every morning with oven-fresh baked goods and tasty egg dishes, as well as a great location, we could not have asked for anything more. Fresh baked cookies, and wine and cheese before dinner are just a few of the wonderful extras. Our thanks to innkeepers John and Laurence for making us feel so welcome!
